He is 228 yard shy of the record.
He rushed for 1,064 yards his sophmore season
He rushed for 2,567 yard his junior year
and 1,673 so far this season

WOW! I didnt realize he was this close to breaking this record I if i can remember correctly Earnest Beans career yardage was 5,532. I know Ford passed the 4,000 career yard mark a few games back he must have been averaging 300 yards(like he did against us) per game! I will check up on his career total and be back to tell you how close he is ;)

Morrisey would be a great running back he will never be a great qb.  we need a pure passer under center not a converted running back.  IMO jasper should have been developing a future passing qb when they realized the season was going to be a rebuilding one..

Your right T-Daddy next season we could have a loaded backfield consisting of Morrisey and Middleton. Well i guess either way there both gonnna be back there ;).

Morrisey will develop into a great quarterback before his career over believe me! We are simply to young this season but believe me we will definately make our presence known next season. Like I said in other forum I have had Anahuac picked to win this district every since the new realignment came out. And there is 1 way they can do that Buna upset East Chambers so im going with Buna

I would like to start off by saying that LeFredrick Ford #1 (I believe he had 315 yards tonight) from Kirbyville is the real deal! But the player from the Kirbyville squad that impresses me the most is #34 if he gets a finger on you he is tackling you he is a great linebacker and Kirbyville is lucky to have him. As far as Jasper Armstrong played great along with Morrisy and I think we should still be able to make the playoffs this season.

IMO Armstrong is one of the top backs in setx he is always all out 112%

Sorry, ain't buying that. Across the board Anahuac was picked well ahead of EC in the district, even with last year in mind. Just about everyone from Anahuac said "Anahuac vs. Newton" for the championship this year. A number also picked EC to not even make the playoffs. Can't change picks midway through the season!
