wos by 28...
OF stuck with yall by 7 until the 4th quarter (by what i read idk how far in)

i believe BC is a better team than OF this season, to say WOS will win by 28 is dreaming and wishing apon a shooting star...
why is that dreaming? what has bc done or who has bc beaten that makes you think any different? was it the powerhouse shepherd, stafford, or kelly that makes you think you have a legit shot? congrats on beating silsbee, its the only decent team youve beaten thus far.
and holding Kville to within 7 until the final what? 4 or 5 minutes of the game before we got desperate and tried to force a tie / win?
BC could have owned that W but gave it away.. you're a fool to think otherwise.

we beat silsbee tonight... (some thought BC would lose by double digits???)

gonna be a looooong weak with trash talk already starting right after a Friday night game! haha.
ill talk more monday after tonight's win has been properly celebrated!  ;)

    It's all about the match-ups.....
and people said the same things about silsbee...
BC won and some people didn't think it was possible.

what makes this game any different?
We're not Silsbee. We're West Orange-Stark.
and we are Bridge City.

Somebody PLEASE kill this thread.  The only thing that will make it worse is if somebody mentions Kirbyville in a negative light.
lol good luck getting them to kill it...
we have mods / admins posting in this thread, lol.

if mods and admins are saying it, i guess it must be true!?

Had an Offensive Coordinator that fired me completely from offense before the scrimmage of my junior year for being a smart a$$(not me!)

I had no choice, went and asked our defensive coordinator what our weakest position was on defense....OLB....MLB was 5'9 220, SLB was 6'1 215 and WLB was your's truly 5'10 175lbs( ;D)....I was the All District one... ;D...led the team in sacks, int's and Defensive TD's

    Best game - 6 tackles, 1 sack, 2 Int's and 1 Td ...Northbrook vs Spring Woods '93

12 tackles ....Northbrook vs Elsik '93  (not bad for OLB)
haha, nice.
    and nice game.
im going to assume yall won that game, lol.
  5. wow, i opened up a topic that seems i should have left closed, lol.
but yet after everything i read i keep getting even more curious.

what school brought forward the complaint?

    and

if the student had the passing grade and a natural disaster prevented the teacher from proving it before the deadline, why wouldn't the UIL over rule it?

dont tell me any names, but can you tell me the reason for the ineligibility?
    you've got me wondering now.
The ineligible player, if I remember correctly, had an incomplete status in one of his classes.
and im assuming this wasn't know by the coaches for whatever reason?
    or
was it a big game that was a must win?

    remember anything? lol
You are going to make me open some old wounds which will result in wild accusations and even wilder denials.  But here goes.  Because of some sort of ambiguity, the coaches were not aware of the ineligible player, who played in all district games except for the last one.  Thus, WO-S had to forfeit those wins.  The infraction was reported by a team in the district who is rumored to have had the information about the alleged player for several weeks, yet did not report it and appeared to gain advantage, including the scoring of a late touchdown that at the time appeared to be just running up the score but ultimately helped that school in a tiebreaker with other schools which did not have the rumored inside knowledge that this other school had.
so basically, the word on the street was that a team in district knew about everything and wasn't going to say anything untill WOS "ran the score" up on another team to make their team better off in the district / playoffs?

This game should be pretty close.  Based on the Tiger's run defense woes I would have to make BC a slight favorite.  However,  the Tiger's explosiveness can counter that quickly.  The schedules of these two so far are interesting.  Not sure which way to go with some of the Tiger's opponents.  Victories over Waltrip, Jasper and Cleveland.  None of these teams have  been very impressive.  Losses to Lumberton and Newton both of whom seem to be inconsistent.  The OF win was tough,  not quite sure how they stack up yet either based on their schedule alone.  They gave the Tigers all they could handle.  BC's schedule so far hasn't been too tough either.  With the exception of Kirbyville.  A game where I was impressed by the Cardinals but it was a 20 point loss.  Vidor was another good win but the verdict is still out on them as well.  BC has won the games they should win.  The Tigers have as well,  but I felt they maybe should have gotten at least one of the two that they lost. If the Tigers put a complete game together they will hand BC their second loss,  otherwise it will be a hard fought close game.
20 point loss due to becoming desperate in the 4th....
    BC wins this game.
why did they become desperate they were right ther the whole time until the end.
exactly.
but you can lose a game by just 1 point... they stuck with them till late in the 4th, then there was more of a reason to become desperate... the game was about to be over and they were down.
