Maybe wishful thinking on my part, but my money is on an interim "Head Coach" from Westlake till TD can take the helm back. I mean why else would he even take this on .. he has nothing to prove at this point.

I wanted to go to this game, but it didn't happen unfortunately. I would be curious how good a Frisco Team with players from both Lonestar and Reedy would be...they are on same side of town west of tollway and north of Lebanon with Lonestar just being north of Reedy). That said, Frisco keeps pumping out new 5A schools lol (Frisco High, Independence, Wakeland, Lonestar, Reedy, Liberty, Lebanon Trail, Centennial and Heritage). When I lived in Frisco, I just wanted 1 6A school, but for whatever the reason, I hear that will never happen.

Let me premise this by the fact that I'm from SETX but currently live in the burbs of Dallas (Frisco). That said, to say that AT&T is garbage is one the most asinine comments I've ever heard spewed on this board. I have only been to NRG once and while it's a nice stadium, it does not hold a candle to AT&T. While I like the fact that games are close to me, the reality is it does give more home field advantage to teams in N TX. As such, it's only fair that it should be rotated around.

Wat happened to the RB from Sping Dekaney that A&M had last year (Trey Williams)? I was surprised to see Whaley getting playing time this year, but that's awesome.

Several of the top 6A schools would win and probably a few of the bigger 5A schools as well...Desoto,Cibilo Steele,Austin Westlake,etc etc.

Per Bruce Feldman on Twitter, Tony Brown was sent home for a violation of team rules. Anyone have more information?

[/quote] Not really..there was not special vote to approve this to my knowledge....I assume this means they already have the money or project they will since they aren't having to get a bond to pay for it.  What's funny about this is that they had a decent stadium to play in (Pizza Hut Park)...but honestly, Frisco needed another stadium with so many high schools (I think they have names for up to around 8 or 9)...right now there are 5 4A's, 1 3A and another HS starting up next year that will probably be 2A or 3A initially.  The one closest to me (Centennial) has around ~2k kids right now, but I think the new school that is opening up next year will drop it back down some so that it won't be in 5A territory.

Press Conference is today announcing the move..they indicated on the sports kicker this morning that they anticipate 1.2Billion in Revenue over 30 yrs...to be put inplace by 2016 season.  I guess this is more incentive for me to check out a Frisco game now lol. Edit:  It will be a domed stadium which will hold 12k and cost $30M..of all which the school district is paying for.

I think it's a win win for both....will bring more tourism etc to Frisco....and we have 6 hs's right now and will have more soon....they won't go 5a for any of them as is their model.
