Printed this off the Kirbyville ISD website. Thought it was interesting to see Steamboat Springs, Colorado on the schedule.

Their coach is a Bridge City guy that retired and moved up there.

Well......yes. He had bad breaks the past 2 seasons with injuries, especially at QB and RB. The team will be better next year because the sophomore group is a good one. The next coach will be getting a good team on a silver platter. So the next 2 years look good as far as players go. But if a BC coach is going to be fired while obviously rebuilding, then it's a bad spot. The next coach will face the same situation at some point. BC isn't WOS.

I'm pretty sure there's way more to do with off field issues than on field for his letting go. 

Wish Coach Stup the best in the future, great guy and coach just caught in a bad spot there in BC.

Not confusing at all. Take care of your business on and off the field you have nothing to worry about.

So many inaccuracies in this post. Sounds more like you are disgruntled because of a personal situation. Do some better research on why certain people were removed, not renewed, and why they left. Take your rose colored glasses off before you reply please. I know why you are butt hurt about things. The programs you mentioned are all in great shape doing well! Football soon will be. The soccer coach resigned to move to Kansas because her husband got transferred. Just an example you need to do better research. As far as emergency fill in. Wasn't our new soccer coach hired during the Summer? She had more than one interview for the job so to me doesn't sound like a emergency hire.

From 2000 (year we went to 3A) thru 2006 the football program went 56-31 with 2 DC, 8 playoff wins, and 3 rounds deep 3 times. I would say the program was headed in the right direction. Since 2007 its been 35-50 with no playoff wins. Complete opposite direction. While I agree we've never been a football power there's no reason we can't compete and make a little noise every year.

We are looking for a couple more players to fill our 10U roster for the Fall season. We will work around your schedule if you are playing football. 8 of them go to BC, 3 go to OF, 1 to LCM, and 1 to WO-S.

More re-assignments announced at BCISD yesterday.  I know that two of them affect coaches, replacing the girl's soccer coach from what I have heard from the announcements made at the faculty meeting.  Another coach is being reassigned from his current duties.

 

Don't make any enemies at that district if you work there.

The Girl's soccer coach left at semester break to pursue other interests. One of the baseball assistants filled the position in the mean time.

LOL!!! He didn't participate but for only a few series in 7 on 7 because it's BASEBALL season!!

Chase will be playing football. He thought about it long and hard but decided he loves it to much not play.

Loser's are satisfied with second place...... I am very excited about the route HJ took with our new coach. You obviously dont know me. Even if we dont win a game this year, my problems with the football program have been solved. We now actually HAVE a program..... Workouts are in place and mandantory.... Respect is demanded and attitude's are in check.... Wins will come, [u][b]all I ever wanted was to be competitive[/b][/u] and for my boys to have a coach they could look up too...
