Our district really did an awesome job.  I am really happy for the Kirbyvulle Wildcats.  They are gaining momentum at the right time.  I just want to say to @kcat-fan, I am very happy for your wildcats.  As a Coldspring Trojan, I must saw Kirbyville has always been a tough opponent for us, but you have always personified class, dignity, for one of the Elite 3A teams in this area. 
 
Good luck to Woodville, Buna & my Coldspring Trojans in the area round!!!

Woodville come out firing and are a much bigger, more physical, faster and more disciplined team. Can't make an excuse other than woodville was just flat out better! Congrats eagles and it looks like Kirbyville has to hope for a  win over coldspring next week and a coldspring win over woodville in week 10 for a share of the title.

Kirbyville should run the fastcat offense and wear out those big boys for Woodville......I hope. Lol

These 2 offenses will be very tough to contain for an entire night. There's just too much speed from both sides. That's why I'm thinking it'll be high scoring but who knows...this could very well end up being a defensive battle. I sure hope not though. Lol.. Those games can get boring. Not to mention nerve wracking. 

I'm all for being supportive of our team and I'm predicting the Eagles to win...
But please, let's be logical and realistic about this. Kirbyville is a very good football team that HAS proven what they can do. There's no reason to think Woodville should easily beat them at all. I respect Kirbyville's program a great deal because I know they've proven themselves over the years. Please don't mistake me for one of these guys and let it negatively influence your opinion on Woodville as a whole.

Final 63-14. We looked good most of the night but still have a lot to work on. We dropped several passes tonight and still have way too many penalties. But overall, we're ready for Woodville next week. It's gonna be a great game.
