I’ve been thinking about this game tonight and I have made my decision... If this game had been played week 1, I would have picked the Dogs because they looked really good in the scrimmages. If this game would have been played 3 weeks ago, I would have picked the Pirates because Ned stumbled in pre-district and then played horribly against BH while the Pirates started with a bang in Crosby. The game is this week though and the Pirates have only scored 27 points in the last 3 weeks. I think Ned will score enough to win this game. Should be a battle, but give me the Dogs to start living up to their potential! Dogs win a tight one. Much respect to Vidor as usual.

Teams seem like they may be slightly trending in opposite directions. I’m just hoping the Dogs can keep improving each week.

Whose QB and WRs aren’t good?

So we have beaten the two worst teams and lost to the best team best team in the district? At 2-1, probably exactly where our record should be. Did I miss something?

We will have our hands full with the QB and we better wrap up. If we don’t, we might be starting to air up the basketballs. I keep thinking I’m going to go to a game where it all clicks for what I still say is a talented roster, but it just hasn’t happened. Too many mental mistakes, penalties, missed assignments, and missed tackles thus far.

I’m a Nederland fan. Kid really impressed me. He’s a gamer. Yes, I have seen Bost. Yes, I have seen Lee’s QB. I’d pick him over both.
