1.
Also the BC players had this arrogance about them that was embarrassing. Times have changed I guess and so has coaching.
You are pretty clueless, my friend. If you want to watch a group of kids play "pure", hard nosed baseball, go watch BC Baseball. I can promise you, in that dugout, playing any other way is unacceptable. Not just amongst the coaches, but amongst the players. BC Baseball has a rich tradition that runs deep in every player that has been a part of it. Sort of like a fraternity. If you have never been a part of it, there is no way you will understand it. Coach Landry is an absolute class act and a 100% "baseball guy" that understands how to play the game the RIGHT WAY. He has been an absolute perfect fit since he has been there. It's no coincidence that BC has been pulling these "ugly" wins off lately. Good, well coached teams with great kids find a way to win. Hats off to you Cards....keep playing ball the right way and you will keep stringing wins together. There is no doubt in my mind that, come playoff time, you will be ready to make a run. Keep that BC Baseball tradition rolling! Go Cards!

 3.
Will be everything But Easy, IMO BH may have the overall better team, but with Nederland getting the 1 gamer and home field, that just evened things up.  Brown is a give me starter for Nederland, just wonder who BH will throw Thames or Long ?  Long had a great game last year , one of the best pithcer duals of the year last season with him and Brown.
Is this real life? I'm going to roll with Long on this one!lol
 4.
If they educated yall a little beter there in BC you might could spell a little better.  We can spell and we can play Sucka!  Your gonna have fun losing
I found this post a little amusing and rather contradicting!lol I put all of your mistakes in bold amigo. On a side note : I couldn't bold the lack of punctuation at the end.
 5.
Sorry I was at the CS game how did yall do in your playoff game didnt see your score anywhere
This guy is truly not very bright! Where is your punctuation?
 6. Since you can't explain the feeling let me try.  Is it like the warm feeling that goes down Chris Matthews' (Hard Ball) leg when he thinks about Obama as President?  Get a friggin' grip - it's a magazine about high school football in Texas and at least half of it is opinion that won't come true.
I disagree.....good doo doo reading material!  ;D
 7.
well I guess my son won't be playing next year because I think Landry is a smart butt.  Anyone who calls the kids "f(*&ing punks" and doesn't care that he says it in front of a parent deserves and gets no respect from me!

Yes, I have made simular staments in the past. The thing that I want to most impress on parents and players is, if a kid has the GOD given talent and abilty to play the game of baseball then there is no need to go to a person who only benifits from that tallent for profit. Only few kids are given that kind of tallent. There is no reason for a high skilled baseball player that has that kind of tallent to pay someone else to gain the glorry for his hard work. Please be honest, most highly skilled baseball players have a gift given from above and will move on to college or pro baseball because of that. I truely do like both of the instructors mentioned here and want nothing but the best for them but, is it always the best for the kid and their team?
These two may take the cake as 2 of the most ridiculous posts I have ever read!
Yeah.....that's teaching your kid "Life Lessons"!lol  What a joke! Congrats Shea! You are gonna do great!
 9. Yeah......when Delome was a freshman it was 01 (BCs first year in 3a). BC lost on the road at Buna. That's when Chase Tucker was nasty from the left side! You should know that Sammie!lol Delome could definitely stroke the baseball!

Another cool stat.....from 02-06.....Bridge City only lost 1 district game! (Hamshire Fannett in 03)
Also lost to Buna (believe 02)....Colin Delome homerun when he was a freshman (dang you Colin).... Sam Moore ps...good luck to colin on a speedy recovery (hurt his shoulder the other night)....
10. Another cool stat.....from 02-06.....Bridge City only lost 1 district game! (Hamshire Fannett in 03)
 11. My prediction is that the Hill rolls on tonight! They are throwing their #1 Grayson Long (Texas A&M verbal commit as a junior).  Hate to say it, but there are going to be some upset Ned fans tonight!
 12. Is that a "Marlow" I see for second base??? Who'd a thunk it?! lol Im jj guys! Congrats to everyone!
 13. How was the Giddings pitcher throwing?? Lefty or righty? MPH? Breaking balls? Good control??
 14. You definitely have to appreciate how much Jasper supports their baseball team! Best of luck to you guys in Austin! Bring that title back to SETX!
 15.

what happened to felts thought he was goin to be a 3rd rounder did he come out and say he wouldnt sign or something cause i did see i mock that had him in the 4th round
Had a strong commit to UT, they knew it would cost a ton to sign him. He most likely won't be drafted.. It happens pretty often, guys that are dead set on going to school so they ask for lots of $$$$ and don't get drafted.
One of these kids that pops to mind was Wes Musick from Lufkin Hudson back in 05. He was a lefty that threw mid 90s and was projected to go in the top 5 rounds. I believe he didnt go til about the 48th round...the team was hoping he would draft and follow.
 16.
If Ty Parker was NOT an invite, High School coaches may need to look into this with some persistent motivation to get him on board. This kid represents our area as solid and sound as any player does in SE-Tx. His numbers show he has been the most consistent catcher in this region and not to downsize any other catcher, but his leadership has been the key to a State Ranked team all season. Their pitching is solid this season because Jasper has a warrior behind the plate blocking balls giving their arms confidence and shutting down oppnents run game forcing opponents to go base to base baseball allowing pitchers the freedom to give up a hit or a walk and still get out of innings with no damage. I would hope Im not personally jumping the gun here and hope this young man HAS made the All-Star game in 2010. Chris Fackler
Its sad that some deserving kids have to be left out! Ty has been GREAT at Jasper throughout his career! Dont hang your head Ty, you have plenty more baseball ahead in your career! Good luck this week!
 17. Im gonna roll with OF in 2. I think OF's sticks are gonna be too much! They will then sweep the state tournament Go get em Cats! Game 1: OF 7-3 Game 2: OF 11-5
 18.
Orangefield wins in a shocker.  Just like in 2005 when we beat Jasper.
I dont think anyone will be "shocked" if you guys win! Yall are definitely legit!lol  ;D I choose OF in 3. Game 1: Robinson 5-2 Game 2: OF 7-4 Game 3: OF 9-4
 19. When is the last time the MVP didn't come from the district champion? (in 21-3a) I was just wondering... ???
 20. My lord! One word to describe Brenham....DANGEROUS! You guys never cease to amaze me! Good luck next week!
 21.

It probably won't be Lamar. Cards are in the SLC tournament so none of the coaches will be able to stay in town for the games.
I keep hearing that excuse.  Nederland played at Rice last year when they were in the Super Regional at LSU.  Redshirts took care of the field, which at Lamar would involve raking a little small area on the mound. Lamar would be the ideal place to have these games.  Hopefully someone can figure out a way to make it happen.
I heard it was Gilligan that doesn't like to have teams play there when no coaches are in town.  Its not a rule for everyone.  Every coach is different I guess.
 22.
Congrads to Bridge City on your win tonight and best of luck. Hats off the boys from Huffman bc you got off the floor to come back strong today. Hashagen is the man and best of luck to him in college. PS Home plate ump tonight flat out ruined the game for both teams. He lost control of the game by the second inning. Both teams suffered from his horrible and inconstant strike zone.
Where is Hashagen playing college ball???
 23. Evadale really has a chance to advance to Austin! Im rooting for you Rebs!
