Kingwood park caused Yates fits last year .
KP matched well with Yates for awhile. KP had kids who could shoot the darn thing.
Careful there Dove- you are sort of admitting that skills can offset athleticism

Hmmm? Well. I've been reading Romney's agenda. He may begin to move towards the center. Maybe I could *dream* that I voted for him. ;D
I suspect he is as close to center as any Repub you will see in your lifetime. Better vote for him and get on the ever growing bandwagon.
Oh I agree, but on the road to Austin during playoffs, I don't think so. They will not go undefeated this year.
Translation- Yates may lose to a 5-a school or some well known prep school, but when it comes to 3-a competition , they will walk through without any competition. Am I making the proper interpretation of your comments, Dove?
Maybe they just don't want anyone to know where their[s] recruits [/s] transfers are from. Perhaps it's Less suspicion that way. ;D
Wait a minute. Haven't you heard? Yates not only complies 100% with the rules but also with the intent of the rules. You and I are simply small town boys who are jealous of their ethical success.
And that also points to someone incompetent.
You def. have your *grump* on today ;)
If telling the truth equals "grump" then I am 100% guilty.

NO, the guy running the website for Yates. If he doesnt know which year it is, he has problems. If he doesnt know the difference between Jersey Village and New Jersey, he has bigger problems. No surprise though because everything that happens at the Yates basketball program has lots of unaswered questions. I would never accuse an SMRJ enthusiast of being incompetent.
He transferred from NJ to attend school in Texas ::)
Hmmm- and he just "happened" to wind up at Yates. I am sure his father wound up with a job in the Yates school district, right?

Now that we have established there are grumpy old men, can we also establish that, if the Yates website does not have the correct player list, that someone operating the website is not properly doing their job? Or are you unwilling to ever acknowledge that something done at Yates might be wrong?
-
Man, with so much emphasis and attention to their BB program you would think they could at least get the roster correct. :o
Excellent observation.
Like I said earlier today, more spin to your wrong info.
It's not "my info". In case you havent noticed, it came from a website that I assume is very likely administered by Yates. If the info is wrong, it simply suggests that those responsible for the website are highly incompetent.

Kenya Jackson Hakim Davis Jarvis Hickey Jonah Jackson Maurice Ellis Clyde Santee Chris Wells These players were seniors last year. I have a roster from there playoff game against Wheatley and the state tourney program with their roster and it has these guys as seniors.
Well, then perhaps it is last years roster. The only thing I am certain of is that either the site I provided is wrong or some incorrect data was posted on the state tourney program. Since it involves Yates, neither would surprise me.

Not so sure it was incomplete. I think one just simply needed to read along further down.

From the minutes of the meeting where the rules were determined: Proposed Amendment to the University Interscholastic League Constitution and Contest Rules A. My source tells me that his superintendent is on the legislative council that approved the new ruling. My source also tells me that his interpretation of the rules was verbally communicated to him by an official of the UIL. Perhaps my source and his superintendent are incorrect or perhaps the rules are not listed in their entirety. Thats the only two possibilities I can come up with.
I didn't see that second option in the rules just voted on. Where did you see the second option because I agree schools would choose that option.
I didnt personally read it but i have a relative who is in the coaching business and that is what he told me.
