Uh- oh.  The Texans loss to Minnesota dropped them to 12-3.  Guess its time to "clean house" ( I stand corrected)

Sure, they "knew they had them" right up to the last second shot  by HJ  to win the game that didnt fall.  Yep, they "knew" they had them all the way.  At 18-2, I believe the house is sufficiently clean.

It wont take very long to find out if HJ played poorly or this is how they always play.  And, in the end, it really doesnt matter what a fan says or thinks anyway.

[/quote] Rest assured that your shooting percentages were considerably better than those of HJ.  I think you only missed one free throw in the last quarter and HJ shot 33% from the line for the entire game.  If you think that WOS didnt play well last night, then you can rest assured they will go undefeated in the district.

I wont tell you they will beat Silsbee but I will tell you they are capable of beating Silsbee if Silsbee shoot like HJ did.  WOS can match most any team in this area from an athletecism standpoint including Silsbee.

Here are some stats that are worse than even I thought for HJ 33% from free throw line 28% from the field 10% from three point range The majority of those shots were NOT heavily contested

WO played very well down the stretch and I dont believe they missed a free throw in the fourth quarter.  HJ was behind most of the game and had finally taken a two point lead when one of their players ( who shall remain anonymous) stole the ball and had an uncontested layup.  For some unknown reason, he tried to dunk the ball ( not Bosha) and it rattled twice but didnt go down.  WOS got the rebound and scored.  Big change in momentum at that point.  I cant remember an HJ team ever shooting this poorly for an entire game but that happens sometimes.  WOS took pretty good care of the ball the entire game and had a definite rebound advantage.  It didnt help that the HJ post played less than half the game due to foul trouble.  It wont take  more than a couple of weeks to  to decide whether or not tonight was an anomaly.

I did not know it was guessing- i thought you and Dove both had extensive research and calculations behind your predictions

Well, since you have made your infallible declaration, I guess we will just have to accept the fact that we will be starting district with an 0-1 record.  I am sure you believe we will lose the second WOS game as well along with 2 Silsbee games.  There is bound to be at least one other loss for the Hawks.  Pretty  hard to make the playoffs with 5 losses.  I  had better get that cross country and weak scheduling stopped now.
