griff you have it right.  last yr HF took WOS to the wire and they had a chance to win.  i like the enthusiam here right now and the program is going in the right direction.  that being said i don't think HF will beat WOS, but i can promise you they will give it their all and it will be a good game.

Crain and Gunstream for OF, Jeffcoat for HF, but I don't want to beg for kudo's for someone doing a good job, I'm not related to any of them.

All i have heard was how good silsbee was. Take away 2 errors on HF and they would have won because silsbee would not have scored runs those innings. I was not impressed at all by silsbee. HF does not have a win in district and silsbee only wins 3-2. [b]Silsbee playoff run will be one and done.[/b]

I was there.  The kid the ball on the screws and Dishon made a great catch and I believe in giving credit where credit is due.  They are kids and the kid that hit the ball helped Dishon with his highlight reel.

yes give dishon credit for a good catch.  how about giving credit to the kid that hit the ball.  looked like a pretty good shot.

Just got word and 3rd person so not sure if it's true but i was told several members of BC baseball team was caught at the beach drinking.  Anyone have anything definite.

gonna be a lot shorter list this year than last.

Tarkington @ HF, score was 6-3 in game like scrimmage.  Tarkington had one home run and Smelley was 2-4.  HF had Miguez 2-4, 2rbi and Jannise 1-4 1rbi and a solid 2 innings to start on the mound.  Overall both teams looked decent for opening scrimmage.

[/quote]neither Miguez or Carmon were targeted much more than that and it's a shame, one was the leading receiver going into the game and both can actually catch the ball IF it gets to them.

From what I understand rip it will not be allowed and marucci's are on the bubble.  My son used marucci during summer ball and liked it.  I still saw a few long balls, but there will not be as many as there was last year.
