  1. Really don't think you'll come anywhere near competing for a state title this year. But honestly, if you do, I'll be cheering for you
  2. Just wondering who are the top scorers in our district?
  3. Soulja........Ok. Many parents/relatives of our current players sit behind our bench. It has became tradition. Out of RESPECT we ask that other fans understand that. This is a very small section we are talking about. Our gym will NEVER be so full there is nowhere else to sit. Now as far as your question as to how do we determine a Ned fan vs a Ozen fan, I know your question is racial based and so do you. If you calmly sit and watch the game we wouldn't know who was your team, and you wouldn't be asked to relocate. If you cheer for Ned, we assume you're a Ned fan. If you cheer for Ozen, we assume you're an Ozen fan. Clear enough?
  4. Sometimes on this forum, me included, we get caught up in the "fan" or "parent" aspect of it, and thats usually ok it's all in fun. But at the end of the day it's all about the boys. I want to give credit to #23 Jase Miguez with 27 points. He can score against any team, and any player. He doesn't get enough credit for his play. Also #11 Darryl Jones with 19 points. He has been a great surprise, has a great work ethic, and has taken full advantage of his opportunity to develop this year. He toughed it out late in the game with pretty bad cramps. It will be HIS team next year. And kudos to #3 Kevin Howard, with 16 points, another junior getting better each week. His game is getting stronger in every aspect.
  5. Here is the simple reason behind the seating. Anyone can sit anywhere they want in our gym. There is one, and only one, exception. It is the seating DIRECTLY behind the benches. This applies to both HOME and VISITOR sides. The seating there literally starts one foot behind the benches, and it is not the best idea to have opposing fans that close, for either team. Wiuldnt you agree?. It is our gym and those are our seating arrangements. If that's not to your liking simply don't come to our gym. Honestly, is the seating that much of an issue?
  6. Amen. As far as I could tell Ned took the loss, congratulated Ozen, and would move on. However, Ozen supporters kept throwing punches. They took personal swings at our coach, then started complaining about our gym seating arrangements and tried to make it racial. Here is the BOTTOM LINE: BMT FANS CANNOT ACCEPT THE FACT THAT THEY CAN NO LONGER BEAT NED BY 30, A SIMPLE WIN TO THEM IS UNACCEPTABLE. SORRY BMT FANS, NED IS UNDER YOUR SKIN AND THATS EXACTLY WHERE WE WILL STAY. Again congrats to Ozen on a hard fought, have to take it to OT, victory over a poor pitiful Ned squad
  7. I congratulated Ozen on their win. It was a great, competitive, hard fought game. Ned packed the house tonight, and win or lose I can't imagine any fan sitting in the stands that didn't enjoy this game. Bitter tea and salty nuts?
  8. Yeah, dang it. Well I guess we will just have to split with Central
  9. You might want to check on Ozens probable 2nd round matchup before you start talking about round 3, from what I'm hearing
  10. You should have seen him a few years ago. He is well behaved now
  11. Great game. One of the most entertaining games this year. Fourth quarter was a replica of last meeting. Ned makes free throws they win, we just didn't get it done. Ozen fought back and deserve the win
  12. Thankfully we don't have to worry about that! Jordan's junior year I think it was, Ned almost stole a game at Ozen. Then when Ozen came to Ned Jordan took over the show and couldn't miss.
  13. He is an X-factor. Hopefully he will be "on"
  14. If I remember correctly Ned didn't even hit one 3 in the first meeting. Playing at home I don't think that will be the case. One of our 3 point shooters didn't play. Down the stretch we missed clutch free throws, don't think that happens again either. Looking for Ned to start quicker and play better. I'm sure we will see a better game from Ozen too. Ned wins by 3
  15. Ned let one slip through their fingers last meeting, with a 5 point loss. Neither team played their best. Who takes this one?
  16. Just wondering, will Ned get any recognition at all in the rankings after losing only by single digits to 2 top 10 state ranked teams? Or will Ozen and Central just drop down?
  17. Exciting game with runs by both teams. Congrats to Central. Ozen will not beat Central this year
  18. Agreed, if Ned wants a chance we have to control the tempo! If we do, it could be close, if we don't it will be ugly
  19. Agreed, it is a very UNPOPULAR prediction. But CERTAINLY not a CRAZY one
  20. Man DV has got it heated up in here. I'm gonna try to take some heat off him, I got Ned by 7
  21. Without doubt this will be our biggest challenge to date. We will need to block out better and limit 2nd chance shots, minimize turnovers, and make FT's. Pretty fundamental but certainly not always easy. We look forward to a fun game
  22. Well it's a fact. Let me put it this way, Ozen won because they made critical FT's. And I'm not really upset about losing to 8th ranked team by 5. I think we learned a lot from this game. I also think Ozen learned a lot
