All fans slant towards there team AAW including yours truly!!! You know that! ;)

I know one thing.  HJ's basketball players have participated in cross country for years.  Everyone on this board can admit that HJ never has the best athletes on the court.  The results speak for themselves!

[/quote] I played against them but did not coach.  My brother coached against them however I did play against the 1997-98 team and have seen the recent teams in the last 5 years and I would say they are VERY comparable.  The tiger team in 2010 was probably a little deeper.

Silsbee will win plenty of games and will contend for district title like they do every year.  I dont care who their coach is.

Ira Brooks is very well respected in coaching circles in southeast texas and even more so in the entire state of texas.  silsbee will be fine here and this is not a bad move at all.  i would tread lightly for those of you who are criticizing brooks and or silsbee.  their track record proves they know what they are doing over there in silsbee.

I will say it again.  Sometimes you don't know as much as you think you do. There are times when there is just more to it than meets the eye(or ear in your case). I know it is hard for the "ultimate insider" to not know things that he thinks he should know but it is just a fact this time.  I will leave it at that.

That happens to every school every now and again but Silsbee is consistently a contender and will be again.  Just a fact of the matter.

transfers or no transfers silsbee is going to be very good just like they are every other year.  remember for the last 5 years people have said HJ was going to have a down year.  A down year for a program like Silsbee is make a deep run in the playoffs so transfers are irrelevant.

Not at all.  Have a lot of good friends over there in Silsbee.  I am simply saying that sometimes things are not as good as they sound.  That is it.

I cannot give an honest percentage I just know where are at the top of his list if it could work out.  There may be one or two other right there near us but we have the inside track.  Obviously doesn't mean it can work out.  Alot of things have to fall in place for this to work.
