Pretty sure Buna sent 7 to state this year in power lifting. -
ILet's stay off topic and just run down these 2 teams in district "UIL" events:
Football: WOS
Baseball: BC
Softball: BC
Track: BC this is overall points for meets " Having a super fast 4x100 doesn't mean you win the meet"
CC: BC
Basketball: WOS
Powerlifting: BC- BC sends more kids to state than any other school in the area.
Tennis: BC
Golf: BC
Did I miss any sports? Just listing the ones That I can think of.
So, I guess from the study it seems like BC is competitive in the majority of the sports.....
How many people did BC send to state this year in power lifting? -
I wouldn't consider BC a great hitting team. They have some great hitters. Buna threw a 2 or 3 hitter against them. I'm pretty sure Buna had more hits off of Shugart then BC had off of Kelly.

Richardson is still not 100% but he is way better then he was. He played the field Friday hopefully he can hit this week

Isn't this the team that broke up because the coach quit mid season last year? Is the same person trying to start it back up now, if so how long does he plan to play half the season or the whole season? hard to commit to a team when you don't know how long they will last. Daddy ball live and well even at this age.
Well first off how many teams around here aren't daddy ball. No matter what you think some daddy or mom is controlling things either on the field or with the money. Most teams around here have dad's coaching. When this team dissolved it was being coached by Lamar PA coaches. I don't exactly know why they quit or do I care cause my daughter doesn't play for them. I'm sure your one of those parents who is a cancer to whatever team your daughter plays for and your always jumping from team to team. Why would you come on here bashing another team unless there is a motive behind it. Daddy ball is alive and well and I have seen several daddy ball teams do well at the world series and some teams with paid coaches go home earlier. I can tell you this most of them daddies care way more about their teams then most all of them paid coaches. Thanks from a proud daddy ball coaching fool. -
Last one for a while he is a junior but Buna has had a Clark or 2 on their team for the last 10 years

Richardson is hurt (back) hopefully just a muscle been fighting it a couple weeks now. Was getting better then took a turn for the worst Monday. Doctor today

Clark started pitched 3 innings then pulled and put in Tyler Williams. Buna really needed Clark in the field. Missing Richardson and Cleveland (2 starting infielders and lead off and 4 hole) really hurt.

I thought and i could be wrong but anytime a coach gets ejected they have to go to Austin. Buna didnt hit real well last night Aaron kept them off balance all night. BTW after the first pitcher for Buna that was 3 Sophs.
