1. Gerry Dickert or someone else from the Bee is usually there.  Check out pics at gldphotography.com
2. Silsbee loses a setter, middle blocker and outside hitter.
3. Thanks 21 3A for a great volleyball season!  Congratulations to HF, OF and BC!  We will be rooting for you in the playoffs! A special thanks to the WOS transportation department for helping us out last night by sending a bus after ours had a blow out on the way to the game!

Combine that with a good varsity coach and they are going to be good for at least the next four years. Only going to get better. I thought they looked good last night as well, but I also thought Silsbee looked terrible.  They couldn't do anything right. Neely was the only one hitting the ball and OF was blocking almost everything she hit. Good game by OF. And thank goodness...don't have to hear domination anymore...well at least not on volleyball.
You gotta hear it at least one more time....Silsbee's Freshmen team went undefeated in district and only lost one match all year!  Domination!
Well Orangefield's freshmen team has only lost twice in district both to Silsbee...but that's a little misleading. Orangefield's JV team that consist of 4 freshmen have went undefeated in district so far this year...add to that we start a freshmen on Varsity, you can see how strong our freshmen class really is. But taking nothing away from Silsbee they will be Freshmen Champs. Like to give props to our JV team that is undefeated so far...that equals DOMINATION!!!
And the same can be said for Silsbee's freshmen and JV.  Four Sophomores and a freshmen on varsity!  Looks like we have alot to look forward to in the next few years!  ;D  I can't wait!

6. 48 = the number of Silsbee fans who stayed through the rain to celebrate the WIN! 0 = the number of WOS fans who drove home happy ;D
7. I had the opportunity to work with Moose at many Silsbee basketball games. I am saddened to hear of his passing. His size and his voice could have been intimidating if not for the sweet smile that he always carried with him. He was an excellent official and will be missed by many. God Bless the Jones family.
8. Awesome! Silsbee High School sponsored Spiking for a Cure two years ago. We were unable to do it last year because of the hurricane. At our event we raised $2700 for the Silsbee Middle School Relay for Life team. Way to go Bridge City and Orangefield!
9. Yes, you hit the nail on the head concerning the tourney. This happened to us and we were not happy when we were told that, after winning our 1st match then losing the next match, we were done. Not a good explanation given from the tourney directors/staff. Wow, we might not come back next year. ditto.
10. I must have missed that. I did have to make a quick run downstairs. ;D Yeah they did!!! ;D
11. They have two girls and both look taller than 5'10"...maybe they just play bigger than 5'10"....They have a great all around team...tall hitters and everyone else is scrappy as they can be. Go Warren!
12. Way to go Lady Tigers! Congrats Coach Leach! Great support out for Silsbee and Orangefield. Good luck to Orangefield this season!
13. Buddy Bush is a great coach and person! He will be an asset to Kirbyville's bb program.
