As a lifelong Rocket's fan, I love Lowry but he needs to go. His attitude last year wasn't great and he isn't what we need. I say resign Gogi and package Lowry and Martin for something on draft night that will bring us something to be proud of. The was this roster is built right now will never amount to anything more than a 6th or 7th seed. It's time to shake things up.

Agreed. I was completely disgusted. Those are the people who will never get out of Silsbee.

Yes, Gus was fouled and I am not sure who initiated the contact either but believe it doesnt matter because the defender did NOT have position as Gus was approaching the basket.
[/quote]You could say the same thing about Persohn's offensive foul where he broke his finger.  #11 was in the air (aka "did NOT have position") and Persohn jumped into him to initiate the contact.

I think during any other game we would have seen a defensive foul, but the referees didn't call that all night long.  Prudhomme was tripped, Bosha was tripped, and Gus went down earlier on a similar play and they were never called.  Note: the trippings were not intentional, just due to typical contact when driving the lane.

So, the referees weren't anything, if not consistent, in not calling that play.

Both of Joe's offensive fouls were legit calls. He lead with his shoulder and created the contact himself on both calls.

The tortilla thing comes from an old Texas Tech tradition when the students used to throw tortillas on the field after td's. It eventually got banned by the Big 12. haha

We could throw tortillas on the field or wrap the giant head with red streamers before every game.

HJ vs Kountze. Im not sure what year it was but I was little and was attending my first HJ basketball and watched Monte(?) Cole hit a shot at the buzzar to win the game. Thats when I fell in love.
