BARRIER is the best choice, hands down.  HF would be lucky to get him.  If you want a winner, choose Barrier for sure.

I'm sure the BH coach has read all of the posts that were posted before on the reassignment of Mangan, and who would want to jump right into that career move again?  BH surely left a very bad taste in his mouth, and by those posts, I would say HF is right up the same alley in regards to parents meddling.  I guess the hiring process will be pretty interesting.  And, the BH coach was totally spoiled by facilities there it seems.  HF doesn't boast much but a new-improved baseball field and a softball field. Wonder if our coach Stump went after the HF job too like the BH one?  Naw...he knows the politics there. LOL

When Trout gets promoted to the electronics division there at Wal-mart, he'll try out one of those computers and have a few choice words to say about this thread, surely.  Whoever started this was just trying to be mean and get their 15 "typed words of fame," but enough already!  We've got more important things to type.

True...we've all gotta do some job to get our darlings the finest bats, gloves, lessons, etc., so if I have to do Wal-mart greeting, then I'm doing it too.

[/quote] AGREE with the tournament analysis.  It's a time to get everyone involved and see who has strengths and weaknesses.  Not all coaches go for the win, but try to find the best chemistry.

BC's coach wanted to go to BH but he felt like there may not be enough athletes at BH to be successful. You guys gotta give this post a rest.  You are wearing out those school-issued computers.  Wonder why so many of you are bashing the new coaches?  I'm sure that tech is loving you and sharing your thoughts.  Not too smart guys!  I think that's why Coach Stump stayed right here.  He knew he wouldn't get any support there just like your new guy isn't getting.  

The Dayton cronies are all saying YEP...Country Kitchen talk today was all about AJ.  

I hope it is rumor.  This kid is amazing.  Maybe misguided priorities, but I guess what 20 or 21 year old doesn't at times.

Sad turn of events I just heard from a co-worker.  AJ was already on probation for hitting someone with a bat, so now pulling a gun on someone else didn't set to well with the university.  He might look better in Liberty County stripes, not LU RED!  Go Cardinals!!!!!!!!!

Yes...he was a gifted young man.  Sad to hear.  Wonder what happened to him?  Dayton fans...give us some info of you know.  Sad day for him and his family, I'm sure.

Waddell Townsend Leggett Adams These kids will be known around SE Texas by last name alone, not their respective high schools.  These boys put in the extra time to be well-known around the select world of baseball.  Great kids, great players/hitters and great parents too!

Agree with that...BC and BH need good competition to get better for the long haul.

CROSBY is scared of everything.  They are scared to play BH because BH kids get laptops...Think I'M kidding?  When we watched my niece, who plays for BH, Crosby had signs all over their gyms saying 'YOUR LAPTOPS WON'T HELP YOU HERE!"  Guess who won?  Not Big Red.  They're scared and running for any reason!!!!!!!!!!

BH's Shannon Evans will be on this list some day for sure.  Super quick hands and has the desire to be really good at her game.  My daughter plays with her in AAU and can't get her game going cause she's always messin' with her :-\
