I was in the bookstore at Lamar today between classes and was reading the latest SI with Adrian Peterson on the cover, and flipping through they have a little section where they get 4 athletes opinions on certain topics in the going on in the celebrity world today and Davy one of the 4 athletes... Just thought I'd pass that along...

Every game the past 4 years could have gone either way... Last year it was the missed field goal, can't remember the year before lol, and in 2006 when I was a senior, it was Brandon Williams scoring with maybe 10 seconds left in the game to win... So I expect this year to be the same...

Good win for the Bears....But looking at Cleveland and who they have played, they are not that good. 

On a side note..........Please tell me I will not have to hear any BOJO crap.  That is the worst tradition rip off I've ever heard.  Pathetic.  Get your own traditions you can really be proud of. 

Get your popcorn ready LCM....You're about to play the best team you've played yet.

I think alot of people that come on here and post things like " this will be a good game " will be surprised by the final score . This game could get out of hand by halftime.

Travis and Delta State played last night in Pineville, Louisiana against Louisiana College. Delta State won 5-2, and Travis played pretty much the entire second half... It was different seeing him in green instead of black and gold, but nonetheless it was good to see him play for the first time for Delta...

any word on pittman and peevey. i heard the injury to pittman was worse. hopefully both are 100% for district. i think they can do without them this week, then they're off a week. hopefully the big boy can get some playing time this week before district.

Talked to Shayne at church on Sunday and he said he should be fine...

Jesus Christ! Talk about pathetic, actually starting a thread about this... The players don't choose who they play against, they just play! And from the looks of it, seems like they're doing a pretty darn good job so far... Some people are just downright sad...

Vidor isn't the only team playing easy non-district teams... Look at the "holy" University of Texas Longhorns... Who are they playing in their "non-district" (non-conference)? Lousiana Monroe, Wyoming, Central Florida and UTEP... 4 weak and easy teams to get the kinks out to prepare for Big 12 conference play... Ever think that Vidor might be doing the same thing?

LCM by somewhere between 82 and 97 1/2 points.  depends on temp, when the game starts, and the winning lotto number for the powerball next tuesday.  haha but lets play bc first, heh?

Whoa!  Livingston loses to a 3-A school by 3 tds.  LCM loses to a 3-A team by 2.  the one that played lcm was WO-S...and nederland...oh but i digress, cant say anything until we win something

Oh I agree with ya!  The bears are very much improved and headed in the right direction.  Last year when you received a new coach everyone was hoping for improvement!  Its obvious the Bears have improved dramatically and should be very proud of where they are right now., but your in 20 4A  and effort, improvement and brownie points only get you attention in the off season.  What im trying to say is that to all you Vidor and LCM fans that have been talked up this year and bragging about winning district or improving enough to compete its time to shut up and PROVE IT and until you do LCM sits at 7 in my opinion. 

I haven't seen one "legitimate" Vidor fan/poster that has said we were gunna win district... We know thats way too far away, all we're concerned about is who we have that current week, and making the playoffs... And regardless of who we have played to start off, 900 total yards in 2 games, is a HUGE improvement over last year... Just saying...

And I really believe LCM will compete this year, and will be in the playoff race for a while...

I know it's 2 weeks away, but with all the talk of Cleveland being as good as they are, and the way LCM played West Orange, this could possibly be a REALLY good game... Anyone else agree? Predictions?

I've been to almost every single one of Vidor's games and the same thing happens, EVERYTIME... We win the first 2 games and lose the next 3, every single time... Very frustrating...

I'm just sick and tired of hearing the people from WOS say the same thing "It was a scrimmage, it doesn't matter..." If a scrimmage doesn't matter, then what is the point of covering it on this site, or creating a thread about it? I GUARANTEE you that if West Orange had "won" the scrimmage, you wouldn't hear that phrase I mentioned earlier, even once... The point of playing against someone, is to beat them, no matter what... You cannot tell me that WOS drove all the way to Vidor to not beat them in some sort of fashion, because that's ludicrous... So whenever someone from Vidor mentions that we "beat" WOS on that day, in which we did, don't get so downright defensive, you're making yourself look that much worse... I'm tired of Vidor not getting any credit whatsoever in anything... Yes it's been that way forever, but by God for once we have something good going for us, and Lord forbid that we are happy and excited about it... So get down off your high chair for once and realize that getting "beat" at something isn't the end of the world... As you can tell, we don't have the best record over the years, and we've had our fair share of losses but you know what? We're still alive and kicking and never giving up...

I held that in for as long as I possibly could but I finally had to let it out... Hate me if you want but it had to be said... And btw, when I mentioned "the people from WOS" I didn't direct that to everyone, just a few in particular...
