    IMO Philip because he can play out wide in the midfield or up top, even at defender if you need him too... And I think Kirby might just be a tad bit faster but not by much.

    Exactly. Plus it was meant as a double header so each team would have good fan support.

    While I have not seen Lumberton play this year, I know Coach L will have them ready to play.

    Vidor's second half of district has been pretty impressive. The switch in the defense, IMO has made the difference. Barton is a ball hawk, and is very tough to get past. Gio on the left side is very quick and has maybe been Vidor's MVP of the second half of the season. Offense has had a little trouble scoring, but the chances have been there.

    I say Vidor 2-1. Looking for a good entertaining game. Also the field at Lamar is absolutely amazing. The surface is perfect.

    We went out on an airboat into the marshes off of 105 between Vidor and Bridge City. Caught 7 reds, 1 drum, 1 flounder and 1 gar. 5 of the reds were keepers, and the drum and flounder kept. Caught them all on tiny mullet we caught in the cast net off in a finger in the marsh. One of the keeper reds was right at 27 inches. Pretty good day!
