  1. It will definitely be a test of how much the Tigers have developed the sophisticated. Should see some freshman starters as well. Silsbee Defense on the line will be the question mark. LBs and Sec is solid just need to keep backs from breaking into 2nd level untouched. New turf will be exciting.
  2. Again, I prob got my year mixed up because the "Heartbreak Kids" from Carthage won state the year we lost to them 34-30 (2016-17). In 2015, we dropped 40 on Carthage and couldnt get ahead of Carthage. They lost to La Vega that year.

  4. I agree, he should. Fingers crossed. Look for Carter to have a big year though. He is lighter, stronger and faster than his SOPH campaign and has a nose for the ball. # NAME GP SOLO ASST TOT TCKLS T/G TFL 40 J. Williams(Jr) 10 64 16 80 8.0 7.0 32 J. Carter(So) 9 50 15 65 7.2 11.0 G. White will be pivotal as well in his JR campaign. Young man has good technique and will be a force in the trenches. Add newcomer J. Brown to the mix and the LB/Sec should be super salty and aggressive. Just need some lineman to fill those gaps. The only unknown in the team this year. JMO #TigerNation
  5. Dre'lon Miller Showed Up to play apparently. Lol. [Hidden Content] He wasnt the only one though as the Twin connection was working as well between Mason & Max, multiple TDs.
  6. You are right, my years always run off by 1. 2018-19 Season
  7. I would agree on this ranking being too high for one reason.... Silsbee was unable to close out teams last year in the 4th Qtr. Can they do it this year? Did the Sophs sow their oats and are now ready to be a team? Powerful offense with a very young and talented Offensive line waiting in the wings, but as of now, no defensive leader. Dont get riled up just yet... I mean that to say there were great individual defensive players in 2021 but there did not seem to be one that just said follow me... i.e. Dralyn Taylor, Ayden Bell, Quincy Kelly I will be watching to see who might want and own that responsibility.... several candidates but my money is on one in particular. If it all comes together then 2022 will be a tone setter for 2023 when all the skill players and trenches gel. Stay tuned. #TigerNation
  8. Goes to show you that regular season games are exciting and tell you a bunch about your team. The playoffs show what you have learned and whether or not your mettle was tested during those games. It doesnt happen often enough for the Tigers, but when they get deep in the playoffs its a game. Ill take 7-4, 6-5 reg season all day if it prepares us for December. Two games that will hurt me forever... 2015 Carthage 2019 Cuero
  9. They've all been ranked together before but the best was prob 2019. #2 Jasper #3 Silsbee #5 WO-S
  10. 2019-20 Season Nope. Carthage was still 4A-1 2020-21 Season Yep. Lost 49-0
  11. To each his own but might compare the rankings and see how often they come pretty close. Take 2020 for example: #1 Carthage / #2 Gilmer Played for Title #3 Wimberly lost to #1 Carthage (State Semis) Only outlier was #15 Graham lost to #2 Gilmer (State Semis) #4 WOS lost to #7 China Spring (Reg Semis) #5 PG lost to #22 Caddo Mills (Reg Semis) #6 Celina lost to #15 Graham (Reg Finals) #7 China Spring lost to #1 Carthage (Reg Finals) #8 Bellville lost to #12 Salado (Area) #9 Sweetwater lost to #6 Celina (Area) #10 Sinton lost to #3 Wimberly (Reg Semis) Again, to each his own. Especially the Haters. #TigerNation
  12. There is some talk about a jumbo but nothing finalized.
  13. From the wind..... Not gonna happen. Judging from the loyalty Coach Smith shows his QBs I would expect nothing less. Brisbane received a bunch of criticism for last years play but film shows if he has time he is dynamic on the deep ball and with Miller, who is bigger AND faster..... Offensive line development will be the difference as Silsbee will begin filling roles with a heavy OLine class. Look for it all to come together in 2024 if not earlier.
  14. I would expect some running back by committee this year, unless someone just flat steals the role, due to the amount of RBs this year for Silsbee. If nobody seals the role then expect Ford to play a bunch of defense. Just a hunch.
  15. Keep checking my channel as I will keep resetting the stream. Bot 7 Tied @ 3 Tigers strand two as marchand strikes out Simmons to end the threat.
  16. Sorry y'all, having video difficulties. Not much of a signal out here. Top of the 7th: Silsbee - 3 HJ - 3
  17. Broadcast Live!! Hang on for video/audio issues are possible due to weak WiFI. Will do my best!!
  18. Man this sounds SSOOOOO familiar. Oh wait....Silsbee goes through that every year. Lol. Vidor will be fine. Had a good team last year and played very well. Stay strong, love your town, believe in your team but respect the other teams as well when they win. Let each season do it's thing and build from it. Best advice I got. Tiger Nation
  19. I could use some scores on these games to ight on my broadcast!! Any help is appreciated.
