rough number.... 400+ Brisbane was dropping dimes tonight. Even we were taken aback by the accuracy he was delivering. Miller was devastating on two levels.... his athleticism was on display obviously, but the ball was put in places where he was able to not stop his routes. Crazy. I cant even begin on the three passes to Cartwright.... back shoulder passes that only the receiver could grab.

Man I get no credit!! Maybe I actually know what play would be needed in those situations? Been watching these two teams go at it for a LONG time.

It was a good night in the pressbox. CT himself showed up and I escorted Charlie Woodard to him. Those two shared some stories and had a good old time. Great game Mustangs. I was expecting this type of game and it shows how much these two teams matter to this area. Losing to Silsbee is not an insult or season ending situation.... regardless of some of the posts on this thread. I firmly believe the games against the Stangs have helped Silsbee prepare for deep playoff runs for many years. Let it be the same and lets hope for another Regional Final matchup. Miller is special and he obviously went off. lol. But several great catches were made by Cartwright and Elder. Those passes were thrown by Brisbane who was on another level tonight! Silsbee had over 600 yds offense tonight. Defensively....Silsbee was lights out. Penalties hurt their performance but make no mistake, those fellas was representing. Last thing I will say on this game.....the Mustangs brought this out of those Tigers. Very few teams have that effect. I Respect Mustang Nation. #TigerNation

Come on... Only concern is to play this game, win or lose the ultimate goal is state. Lost to Stangs plenty of times so if they lose it will hurt, but proven plenty of times that usually doesn't effect Tigers playoff performance. I would argue your current concerns will be that much more expressive if WOS loses to Silsbee. Tipping point for a historic program. I've said all along its a mindset to beat WOS mustangs. You have to believe it first. Tigers are in a good spot and have a good chance to win this game, doesn't mean they win district or make playoffs. Keep it real. #TigerNation

It's more about getting as many playmaker on the field at one time. The more Miller runs the ball removes one of the explosive RBs in Martin, Brown and Kibbles. Jmo

Baltrip is excellent in the open field but running thru the tackles might be too much for him. With the Silsbee depth at RB, no need to put Baltrip at RB. Miller at the RB position is no doubt setting something up for playoff time. That's how far ahead Smith plays this game, tight to the vest.

You are right Nederland got lucky. Defense Played for the dogs the whole game and offense decided to play the 4th qtr.
