Should be interesting

As far as Crosby goes, coach Flanigan is an awesome coach and is very knowledgeable about the game.  He seemed to be an all around great person when I met him a couple of months ago.

[/quote] Oh I know what you mean.  I was just saying both teams are headed in the right direction.  I never count anybody out...every game is important and the playoffs just justify that.  Lots of good teams in this region and anythying could happen.

Congrats!  So far both teams are on path for that rematch from last year.  If both teams play like they are capable of and don't underestimate their opponents in the playoffs, it could get really interesting.

Our coach recorded his 500th win 2 games ago.  He's now at 502.  Brenham is pretty far from yall, but 500 wins is a pretty big deal.

Heck, if enough of ya' show interest and post here.  SETXsports may annex y'all. ;) [/quote] Thanks for making me feel welcome.  The way I see it, we can help each other.  For example, I'm fimiliar with our district and if a setexas team is playing a team from our district, I can answer any questions people may have and vis-versa.  Actually, that's how I found this website.  I was studying up for the PNG playoff game and people started asking me about our team.  I found it very helpful and interesting.

Great idea, especially with a new coach.  As for the tunnel...that won't get wins, but hard work in spring practice will.  Good luck.

I can't wait to see this game.  Just like the Dayton vs Angleton game, this is one of many that I have circled.  This next season is stacked full of good games.

While I believe in good sportsmanship, I also believe in giving your all.  The rules wern't bent to help Friendswood or anything.  The way I see it, all teams play by the same rules, and this isn't little league.  These kids are taught to play hard and it's not right to ask them to sacrifice things that could possibly help get them noticed by colleges.  You can still win big and show good sportsmanship.  We do this to teams and it's been done to us.  It's just my opinion, but when you try out for high school sports, your mature enough to know what your signing up for.

Congrats to vidor on the victory....the region is looking even stronger than last year.  The rest of the season and playoffs should be exciting.
