I can't disgree with the wife's suggestion........ ;D ;D Let me clarify, if your team loses out before one of the other teams listed (yes we need a Crosby sucker too), then you would have to attend one of remaining teams game wearing their team shirt. For grins, if someone makes it to State we all go wearing that teams shirt. Example: After Crosby, Dayton, and BH win week one and GCM loses, GCMPats would have to attend one of the 3 remaining teams week 2 game wearing that team's shirt. To make it fun we can take SETX poll to see which game that person or persons have to attend. Who can we sucker in this bet from Crosby. Someone south of hwy 90 must have stole the cable for scrap. ;D
For all of you going into this wager.... Right now Walgreens in Dayton has TONS of purple Bronco shirts at good prices. You may want to get about four, five, or maybe even six of them, that is about how many playoff games you will be going to watch the Broncos play in this year.
They might be at 4 playoff games. I don't see 5 happening. ;) ;D
SETX fans support thier teams ;D You would think Brenham would be on the administrators to get a nice new stadium that holds atleast 10,000 and big parking lot for all those diesel trucks :D Just kidding on the last comment ;D
Ya I was thinking the same thing, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. They just added turf, a new scoreboard, more rest rooms and another concession stand.

I'm 25 now, but I've been to every home game since 7th grade, including the ones I used to play in. I've never missed a playoff game. Starting last year, I finally wrestled a descent pair of season tickets away from the more wealthy families in Brenham. (such as the Kruse's who own Blue Bell and Appel's that own 2 car dealerships, etc.) Small town + large wealthy families = slim chance at season tickets. I've always watched a few of our away games, but last year I didn't miss any and I plan to continue traveling to all of them in the future. ;D
Ain't sceered. But I did'nt fall off the back of a turnip truck because all the posters you have listed who support their team BH will be the last team in 19-4a .You may have baited my line while fishin but we ain't taken this piece of bait.Redo this and I might play.I'll bet Dayton never falls behind in the score against BH before the game ever starts.Loser has to wear the others team shirt at every game after as long as they're playin.Wanna play?Answer in 24 hrs on this site for all to see.
Smart bet to make against a runbased team.
OK, since everyone is so confident and because we have to drag LEE into this, here is a little wager for fun: Panamamyers (LEE) GCMPats (GCM) Litltex (Dayton) Bronco1 (Dayton) BHFan (BH) Anyone else who is not scared or anyone wants to drag into this. Whomever is the last team standing, the names listed above will purchase and wear a shirt in support of that team during the next playoff game after their team is out. If any team listed above makes it to state, we all go together and wear that team's shirt. Of course we have to have a picture for here. ;D
I like this idea.... No Crosby fans though? You guys need to find atleast one before the season starts.

Plans to lay turf for this upcoming season had to be put back due to some problems elsewhere (baseball field and light poles). But based on what I am hearing, I am convinced that turf will be in Tiger Stadium within the next two seasons.
New scoreboard + Sound System + Turf = Best 3a stadium in Texas
What about Navasota?
I have seen Navasota's stadium. It is nice but there are already better 3A stadiums than that one. One thing that surprised me about Rattler Stadium was it's seating capacity, just over 5,000. Where as Silsbee's Tiger Stadium has a capacity of 10,000.
Really.... Ours only seats 6000. ???
Ya, I know we had to play the 2 leading rushers in 4A... Jonathan Gray and Leroy Dobbins. Dobbins doesn't get the publicity the other top backs do, thanks to his size, but he's not just speed. They give him the ball 30+ times a game. Teams stacked the box so much to slow him down, it led to the coach's son putting up that kind of TD/INT ratio. (19/1)
You do realize that Dobbins is running behind an almost entirely new offensive line? I expect him to do well, but he will not have a year like last year.
True, but he'll still be really good. His vision and breakaway sped will help him alot though.

I've been preaching about Montgomery being underrated since last year. IMO, this team is dangerous and deserves way more credit than they get. In setx terms, think of it like this... When Brenham and Montgomery hook up this year, it will have the feel of PNG vs Central. The winner will likely to be the district champ, and it will be a great game to watch. There's 7 years of starting experience between the 2 QB's and 7 years of starting experience between the HB's. Both teams have pretty stout defenses. I think the only thing that will set us apart, is our receiving corp. If I were a D1 playoff team, I wouldn't want to draw Montgomery come playoff time.
