Were the 7th biggest school in our district, so my guess is Brenham stays 4A.

Reason being, y'all placed second in your district last year, when we got first and vise versa, the year before that.  If we both finish first, we'll be meeting before the regional final.

It is possible though...  Central will make it.  It's Nederland and Vidor that are borderline.

[/quote] I see this being like the Brenham vs Huntsville game the last 2 years.  If you don't know how that turned out, they came to Brenham and beat us 21-0 in 2008.  In a 2009 we played in Huntsville and returned the favor, 30-14.  I see Dayton winning this year.  That's the only way to get that 28-0 flavor out of there mouths.

Ya, football season can't get here soon enough!  Y'all could posiibly go D1 though.  Brenham and Dayton will be D2 no matter what.

[/quote] I hear ya there...  It took us losing a game to Lamar last year at Del Mar, because our field was too tore up for us to play on.  Since then, we have decided to get turf, a new track, a new score board and add another consession stand. (that's just the stuff that I know of for sure) Amazing what the loss of a home game (which we ended up losing) will do.  A couple calls to the Kruse brothers at Blue Bell and Blinn to see if they would like to join in....and walla!  Doesn't matter that we've needed it forever, untill that happened.  Now if only we had a few more seats in the place...

So you don't have to pick on all the games, as long as you do atleast 140?  Is there gonna be a list of rules posted, cause it's done different in different places?

This should be challenging...  Living in Brenham, I won't know alot about the 1A and 2A games, but I'll do my best.  Should be alot of fun.  Can't wait to get started.

I like the idea of 2 teams per district if each has 8 teams in it.  I wouldn't mind 4 making it if they had 10 teams. *Example- We played Manor who was 2-8 in the first round.  Result...  We won 49-0.  It was 42-0 at the half, when we took our starters out.

I mean anything is possible, but with 2 teams that had 10+ wins last year, I don't see it being that lopsided.  Not to mention, both teams like to run the ball and control the game, so I think it stays close and niether will put up 30+.  GP's strength is their ground game and defense, so 42 is unlikely considering what they have returning.  Should be a good game though, that could go either way.

He's just a hs kid learning how to talk to and deal with the media.  It's actually our paper you should blame.  They posted something about a couple of people, (not sure if they were players, parents or fans) who were saying, "Brenham's about baseball, not football...bring on Angleton.  They even lost to Waller two weeks ago.". He was prolly reacting to that, and a couple of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties y'all had at the end of the game.  He was wrong, but you live and you learn.(especially at 16 years old) Personally, I love the pride and tradition PNG has and have the upmost respect for your school.  I apologize on behalf of Brenham, if Schlottmann's comments offended anybody.
