1. Waller is stripped on an option at their own 30.  Cubs pick it up and return it to the 5.  Run play stopped for no gain.  Bootleg pass to the FBfor a TD. 14-0 Cubs. 0:44 left in the 1st.
 2. Cubs passing attack drives down the field, punch it in from the 1 with the qb sneak.   7-0 Brenham 7:47 1st
 3. Its about the same, other than our rushing attack has improved.  Less turnovers than last year, which helps out alot.  Schlottmann looks a little more comfortable, this being his third year as the starter.  The first game, the offense didn't look to great, but since then, things have came together nicely.  We only had 64 passing yards in our first game, but lately Ty has been putting up right under 200 per game.  We seem to control the pace of the game, but our offensive stats don't look as good as they should.  I think the lack of offensive yards is due in part to the great field position, and the short field our defense gives us.  Also our defense has scored a few times this year too, not giving our offense as many possessions.  I'd say our offense is about a B+ this year and last year at this point they were prolly a B.  Only thing that kills me about this team, is they still play in spirts.  When I say that, I mean they usually score in bunches, or only play to their full potential for a quarter or a half. (like last year) If this team plays 4 quarters, they way they are capable of, i'll take them over any 4A team in the state. (including Aledo and LT)  Problem is, they very rarely do that.  Last week was the best game we've played in the past 4 seasons.   Without a doubt, this is the best defense Brenham has ever fielded. (at this point in the season, IMO)

The elderly lady said that she took her grandkids to the game in Dayton last friday and that she was from Barbers Hill. She went on further to say that Dayton beat Barbers Hill so bad that her grandkids do not want to go any more football games. My wife just smiled and did not say a word but she wore her Bronco shirt with pride.  ;D The Hill is for real.
She must have been the one at Sonic with 14 footlong chili cheese dogs and one chunky kids in the back seat.............  ;D ;D ;D  Why wasnt she wearing her pink shorts?
I thought you could only order 14 at a time. Hmmm! The Hill is for [img][Hidden Content]]
Bronco1, now that's nifty.  Lol :D

Dayton trounced Waller in the playoffs a week or two after they beat Brenham. On a serious note, not jabbing at Brenham but just curious. Did Brenham just decide to rest players or just a fluke game. I know Waller had no answer for anything we did to them in our game. I know they are in your district, is that a big rivalry?  I also saw you at the Ike game walking by in your Green shoes.  ;)
Didn't Brenham have alot of highly recruited D-1 players on their team when they played Waller  :D
3 We got 8 this year.  ;) (4 juniors & 4 seniors)

 10. From what I understand Texas Tech just threw their name into the drawing, by making an offer.  I'm sure their will be plenty more schools joining that group, seeing as how he's only halfway done with his junior season.  I've heard rumors that LSU scouts might be at the Waller game.  Here's an article from scout.com. '12 Scout 100 Intro - Malcolm Brown By Scott Kennedy Director of Scouting Posted Sep 29, 2010 Brenham, Texas - Nose guard Malcolm Brown is a member of the initial Scout 100 for the Class of 2012. We take a closer look at him in this presentation by ScoutTV. The No. 1 ranked running back for the Class of 2011 is Malcolm Brown (6-1/220) of Steele, Texas. Malcolm Brown (6-2/280) of Brenham, Texas has a chance to be the No. 1 defensive tackle prospect for the Class of 2012 as an initial member of the Scout 100. The bigger Brown plays nose guard for his Brenham's 3-4 defense, but with him in the middle of the defensive line, it's almost like having an extra down lineman. He commands a double team on every play if the offense is to have any chance of success. Even with the double teams, Brown is a rock in the middle that refuses to give ground. If a scheme calls for one offensive lineman to attempt to block him, the play better be going wide, because Brown is going to collapse the pocket almost right off the snap. Brown's biggest strength is his strength. He has a quick first step and is capable of beating a lineman one on one, but for the most part his job is to occupy two men and prevent plays from coming up the middle. He does his job very well. He doesn't have great speed for a big man and won't chase a lot of players down from behind, but he absolutely owns his real estate and the man/men in front of him. See him in action against Lamar Houston from earlier this year in this presentation from ScoutTV. #90 DT Malcolm Brown
 11. I love rivalry games...  ;D A couple of Waller folks have guaranteed victory!  ROTFL  :D This is gonna be great...  ;)
 12. Right now it looks like Malcolm Browns top schools are Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M.  (in that order)
 13. Beating up on 4A HISD schools doesnt mean much.  (If thats the highlight of your season) ::)

Thats like having a highlight reel against a freshman team. Then you said that Dayton couldn't stop the Hill? Are you (insert your choice of word here) kidding me? GP has not ever seen a D like Dayton has this year. I think this is going to be a big let down for GP Dayton 38 GP 21 I still feel like this GPfan is a third grader that dont have a clue
Dont Watch The Sharpstown One Watch CE Kings Game Its On There Its Called GP VS CE KING FOOTBALL ON SCHOOLTUBE! N I Seen Dayton Stats Not To Many Offenses Touchdowns If You Know What I Mean! GP Has Like The Best QB n WRs Dayton Has Seen All Year I Mean The QB Is Number 2 N the State N GP Has 4 Great Wideouts n 2 of them Who Is top 5 In The State N Yards N Catches n TDs! Anymore???????????
If these WR's & this QB are so good, why havn't I heard of them.  Our QB and WR's, their known.  I'd bet our third WR could easily be yalls #1.  I don't mean to talk down your team, but your placing them so high, it's ridiculas.  It sounds like the GP offense could be used as the all state team.  Give us yalls preseason schedule and look at what our stats would be.  I wish we could play y'all in the playoffs so you could see your QB & WR's get shut down by our defense.  Good luck this season though.  The Dayton defense won't be a cakewalk.  That QB will need to be able to throw on the run.
 16.
Have to agree with Tyrone - I think this team is one of the more balanced teams we had in a while . I don't know how many of the previous Bronco's defenses could of dominated the 5a teams we played this year like this team. You got a taste of what our offense can do during the BH game and we have one of the best overall receiver core's we ever had. Our QB is smart and has an excellent arm that gets better every game. RB Desibor doesn't even know how good he is yet and is a home run  threat every time he touches the ball and theres X. Baldwin  one the best all around play makers in SETX and that includes offense and defense .  I think Dayton fans will soon see we are spoiled again with team !
I don't know if I would say dominated.  Your defense played good, but you lost to both of those 5A teams, so I wouldn't use the word "dominated".  ;)
 17.
19-4A may be a little stronger than they get credit for.  The only way to tell is when the playoff season gets here.  Dayton, Crosby, and maybe GP will not go away as easily as some might expect. The predistrict records might have some folks over on the other side of the river sleeping on the potential of Dayton and Crosby.  I could also see BH getting a first round win if the match up is favorable (Nederland??) and if they can get better on defense.
BH would go D2, so I doubt they would meet up with Nederland.
 18. Y'all people are crazy...  Lol This is the same Brenham defense that has given up 12 points in the last 4 games combined. (against better teams)  Also the revenge thing will be working in our favor.  ;) ;D
 19. Congrats to the site, and everybody that makes it what it is.  From smoking baby, to WOSgrad, this site has it all, and that's what makes it great.  It will be fun to watch it continue to grow and evolve.
 20.
Just curious, which one if any of these 4 teams that Galena Park has played would be on the same level as the Broncos? Any thoughts?
None...  They struggled with Magnolia, who has a new coach and was winless till last week.  We beat a better Magnolia team last year, 46-14.  (if that's any help)
 21. ??? I highly doubt it...  Montgomery @ Brenham is tv material.  Brenham @ Waller isn't exactly primetime... There wasnt anything in the Banner Press about it either.
 22. This site is growing daily... ;D
