Rumor has it that MW's 27 year old head coach made a comment about us needing to put up atleast 35 if we wanted to win.  ROTFL...  He had to be kidding.  That was just ignorant! :D

Ya it's in Brenham.  If Dobbins plays, it would definatly be worth the drive.  If not, you can always listen to it online.

Oh ya, props on calling the shut out.  This is prolly the best defense we've ever had.

[/quote] I heard Dobbins is hurt.  I don't know if that's true, but a friend of mine was sitting on the MW side and heard some parents talking.  MW plays Montgomery next, and my friend said he heard them say something about Dobbins being hurt for that game.  Again, don't know if it's true, and if it is, how long he'll be out. If you come to that game, get here early to get a good seat, cuz our stadium is tiny.  (holds 6,000)

I will say this about Magnolia West....  They travel very well, especially considering this is a 3rd year program.  They had pots, horns, signs, the whole nine yards.  They didn't quiet down either.  Not even with the game this lopsided.  Every play they were yelling.  I'd say they are the loudest team i've heard at Cub Stadium, other than us.  Hats off to those guys.

Congrats Dayton.  Good win to start district off.

Congrats Lions.  Sounds like both teams left their defenses at home...  20-4A will be interesting

2nd string came in at the half.

72 yd run TD brought back to the MW 35 for a illegal block. 3 plays later, 31 yd TD run. 52-0 Cubs 2:09 left in the 3rd.

MW can't stop the pass at all....  Were running now though. Malcolm Brown with the sack.  12 yd loss.

28 yd fg with 7:50 left in the 3rd. 45-0 Brenham

MW punts as time expires, but cubs return it to the 7.  Lol. When he juked the punter, somebody dove and caught him from behind. 42-0 Brenham at the half.  

Cubs drive down the field using their running game and punch it in from the 1 35-0 1:17 till half.  First play is an option, guy gets drilled and fumbles....  Cubs pick it up and return it for a TD. 42-0 cubs 

2 play 40 yd drive, cubs score on a fade in the end zone. 28-0 Cubs  7:04 2nd Pick 6 on the next play, but it's called back for defensive offsides.

3rd & 12 MW runs a screen and fumbles after the catch.  Cub ball at the MW 40.

52 yd TD for brenham called back cuz the guy chasing him stopped and somebody ran into him.  Stupid 2 plays later, 37 yd TD pass.  21-0 cubs 10:26 2nd
