I'm leaving Brenham at 2, so I dont get caught in Houston traffic.  What is there to do in Dayton to kill time, untill the game?  Never been to Dayton before, so I need some suggestions...  Anybody?

I havn't heard or seen anything about that.  Tonight they were talking about other teams playing on Saturday....  I could be wrong, but I don't think they will be.  They are on local tv though.

Making the comment in JEST…Considering what LCM had the past several years with BOJO ball, at least CROUCH has been able to bring the kids back to play.  When BOJO coach first got the job, CROUCH was in the running then, against numerous Bear fan wishes, the administration thought it was a good idea to go after someone with Jr. High experience instead of someone that had High School experience.  To top that after several seasons of loosing at LCM the great minds at LCM decided to re-up BOJO coaches’ contract.  SO with you being a Brenham Fan, I’m sure you think a lot of Coach WEST, same as what we think about CROUCH here at LCM.  Again, making the comment in JEST, Crouch is worth 28 points alone.  Oh, last thing 12 points, GOOD FOR BRENHAM…just shows they have a good defensive team again this years. YaYa..    ::) [/quote] Touché...  That's why I apologized.  I misunderstood the comment, thinking that maybe he had a son on the team, like many coaches do.  You're right, we think alot of coach West and as expected, i'm sure LCM has the same trust and respect for coach Crouch....(as you stated) Our defense is good, and from the points LCM's offense has put up this year, it looks like y'all are equally as impressive.  Good luck this year, in what is going to be an interesting district race.  Who knows, we could meet up in the D2 playoffs.

Here a little info from the Huntsville Item... Livingston has rolled to two wins, beating Jasper 42-14 and Houston Washington 32-7. Martin has been impressed by the Lions, their athleticism and the work they do on defense. “We got to see Livingston live against Jasper because we played that week on a Thursday night, then we went last week and watched them against (Houston) Booker T. Washington,” Martin said. “They run a lot of slot-T stuff with a true athlete at quarterback this year. They use their slot back and run the buck sweep, a lot like Lockhart did to us in the playoffs two years ago. “Defensively, Livingston runs a 3-4 a lot and they run it pretty well. They’ve got a pretty good linebacker in Blake Burman. They’ve got a very talented football team, but so do we. We’ve just got to go prove it Friday night.”

The touch screen is harder to work, but eventually you get use to it.  Well worth the money!  I heard a guy dropped his while doing 60mph on his motorcycle while it was raining.  He finally relized what had happened and retraced his steps and found it on the side of the road, still in perfect condition.  Also heard a paramedic accedently backed over his in a 2 ton ambulance and it still worked.  Lastly, heard of a lady talking on it while tending to her horses, when she dropped in a horse trough and quickly grabbed it and continued her conversation.  Lol.  I heard all that from a lady that worked at AT&T, when I went to buy mine.  I was sold!  I'll vouch for her too.  I've put mine threw heck.

I'm pretty sure it will take a little more than coaching...  Though that does make it alot easier...  I apologize, I misunderstood that and thought there was also a player on the team (maybe he had a son) that had the same name...
