4.
The 5A team took this one.
Ya they did...  More like, they dominated.  Come on Cubettes, that doesn't sound like the team that has played in the state championship game for the last 2 years.  SMH.  Get it together soon girls, cuz you play in probably the best district in the state!
 5. The #11 team in 4A travels to the Woodlands to take on the #3 team in 5A.
 6.
Brenham 21 Huntsville 17 If Brenham can get the passing game going. :-[
We won't have much of a passing game, but our ground game will be stronger this year than in recent years past.  That being said, when we do pass, it will usually be a screen, wheel route or play action.  Our defense will give us great field position, and probably score atleast once.
 7.
Region 3 is very tough for area teams. Hopefully we prove DC wrong again!
Hopefully we don't prove him wrong again!  (Atleast not till the championship)
 8.
Your wrong Mr. Green Shoes Crosby beat Montgomery 2yrs ago in the second-round playoff game . It was a double header with Dayton spanking your buddies Waller in the other game .
I stand corrected, but I still don't see them beating Montgomery this year.  As far as Waller goes, that's the one team in 17-4A, that I'm always against!  ;)
 9. Jayhawk, you are correct.  I got him penciled in for 2 FG's and a PAT.  I'll even throw in a TD pass to Fowler, but with your whole backfield missing, the Bronchos might be in trouble. Liltex, you like that spelling?

They definitely have the talent. Good luck to the Panthers and everyone else this season. Can't wait till the action begins!
Don't know if I'd call 20-4A one of the toughest, but it's definatly one of the most competitive.  24-4A is the tough district around region 3.
Better choice of words! Thats what I was trying to say.
I know, I was just giving you a tough time.
 11.

Elkins graduated a huge senior class and most of the previews around here are not looking towards a great season.  I'd be surprised if Dayton was -15 or whatever it was through 3 games.  Doesn't matter till district.
With  LITTL PONY and DA HORSE in tha stables might be a tough night for DA BRONX. Might have to open the passin game up a bit ;) I agree it seems tha Bronx dont get rollin till about the 3rd / 4th game.
I forgot about the injuries.  I would take Dayton if they were healthy, but since they're not, I'm going to have to take Elkins.  Elkins 21 Dayton 13
 12.
It's those darn lucky "GREEN"shoes that's leading his thoughts ;D
Lol.  I love them green shoes!  I'm even gonna wear them to the preview show! ;) @ Bronx- Ya, they came close to beating a lot of playoff teams last year, but were just unfortunate in a couple of games.  They could have easily made the playoffs last year, and their QB has a year of experience under his belt now.  There's no question that they have the athletes, but I think they will actually put it all together this year, if Green can stay healthy. @ Liltex- You said you might get the "Lions (kittens)" in round 1, well you're close.  A lion kitten is a Cub, and you will probably get them in round 2!  ;D
 13. 17-4A Predictions in Week 0 Huntsville @ Brenham- I'll go with my Cubs in this one.  We won last year 28-2, but from what I hear, Huntsville will be much improved.  They dominated their scrimmage against Waller, and came back to beat Conroe 27-14 in the live portion last week.  They return 9 starters on offense, including their QB & HB.  Brenham's defense will be potent, but will the offense be able to put up enough points to get the win?  I say, 24-10 Cubs. Stratford vs Houston Memorial- WOSgrad and I, will be starting the season out by watching this one on Thursday.  These 2 teams know each other well, and who better to open the season with, than your rival?  The Spartans took a beating last year, from the Mustangs, but they have added a 6'4" QB (3 star recruit by scout), and have put together a very impressive secondary on defense.  I'm gonna take the Mustangs in this one, 34-24. Crosby @ Montgomery- They've played 3 times in the last 2 years, with Montgomery winning 2 out of the 3 games.  The Cougars don't have Merka any more, but the Bears are without Bolfing & Dobbins.  House saw alot of time with a few injuries that Dobbins picked up last year, and blowout wins for Montgomery.  I'll take the Bears and their impressive receiving duo, 31-17. Oak Ridge @ Magnolia West- The Mustangs return a lot, including the Houston area's #2 rusher in total yards.  They beat Oak Ridge last year, and they should be even better this year.  Add in a head hunting safety, and it's not looking good for the War Eagles.  I'll take the Mustangs, 28-17. El Campo @ Waller- Waller will have their hands full with the Ricebirds.  El Campo's enrollment is close to 3A, but they are always a very talented team.  They beat the Bulldogs last year, and will likely do it again this year.  I'll take the Ricebirds, 31-14. Magnolia @ Galena Park- Magnolia will struggle this year.  The Yellow Jackets have the athletes to give the Bulldogs fits.  I'll take GP, 35-21. Northbrook- Has a Bye. Pasadena @ Spring Woods- The Tigers had a tough time with the Eagles last year, and while it should be easier this time around, with the team being more experienced, I still don' see them winning.  I'll take the Eagles, 31-14.
 14. Cubs exterminte the Hornets themselves at the Den... Turns out, the Orkin man was booked for the next couple weeks, with the Ant Mound...  ;D
 15.
We'll maybe get to see Liv rd.1  for the 4th meeting.Coach Stewart and staff are 7-0 vs.Lions w/3 skunks-1 (7 pt.score )for the Piney woods Lions(kittens)since 1996.There's you a locker memo stick-up :D
Bobby, I got a feeling y'all will get Ozen in the 1st round, and BH will get Livingston.
Angleton is in 23-4A now.
