1.
And technically i wasn't using the "we beat a team yall lost to" excuse on you. Just BH. I was using the "we made it farther in the playoffs than you" line.  8)
Still not very accurate.  I guess that leaves me looking for something to say.  How bout, "We have had fewer losses in the last 2 seasons than y'all had just last year".  Next season is on the way, and I'm confident we will reload. ;)
 2. Boast away.  You can use the "we beat them and y'all didnt", theory but it means nothing to me.  Ozen was better than us that day.  It's as simple as that.  I can't wait to see this re-alignment.  Maybe it will produce a Vidor vs Brenham match up in the near future.

First time for seven teams as 21-4A.
Vidor wouldn't want that move ;) I can't believe after all of the beatens Vidor has taken from The Hill when we were 3A you still would call us the ant hill ;D We are Mount Everest to the Pirates ;D
One word BHFAN. Ozen. Who beat em? WE did (in there house) Who lost to em? YOU did (in your house) nuff said 8)
Not really an accurate theory.  Everybody knows you can't use "we beat that team and you didn't, so we're better".  That doesn't work in sports.
Okay if you wanna say that then i can go here. 3 words. 1 and done. 8)
Coming from a Vidor fan, that doesn't mean much.  How much success have y'all had in football? (or anything for that matter) That one average season has gone to yalls heads. ::)

 5. The Round Rock tournament is a pretty good way to kick the season off.  Also both Brenham tournaments are good, especially the Alumni tournament.  Pretty intriguing when you take a tournament and put Brenham & CC Moody in it.  Not too mention many other great teams.  When it comes to district there are 2 teams that challenge us year in and year out.  Both Magnolia & Montgomery return more than us this year, so things should be interesting.

 8.

Wow.  I'm surprised Jesse Baker is only 2nd team.
I thought Baker was in the OF?
He plays both, but he played more OF than IF.  ???
 9. Wow.  I'm surprised Jesse Baker is only 2nd team.
How are ya BrenhamFan....been awhile ? The Eagles are loaded with returning starters and should be very strong. IMO, they could be as good as the '07 BH team. They've got some good arms, maybe not quite the pitching depth the '07 team had, but some quality 1-2 guys. Offensively, they look pretty solid thru the entire lineup.
I'm doing well.  Just bought a new toy, so I've been enjoying that.  We lost a lot last year, but I'm sure we'll manage.  Jesse Baker is the name to remember this year on the Cubs.
 12. Looks like the Hill is for real this year!

 14. Lamar will probably win it, but Brenham & Montgomery won't be a slouch.  Let me look into it a bit.  I havn't even seen our schedule this year.

Their defense will take them there. This team is young but polished. As far as district goes, it all depends on the schedule. Whatever happens, its gonna be fun.
If Vidor is fortunate enough to make the playoffs.  I'm pretty sure they won't go past the 2nd round.  IMO, there's six teams in 17-4A alone that would likely beat them.
You said the same thing in football brenhamfan  8)
You're entitled to your opinion, but look at last year, for example....  3 of the last 4 teams in the region were from 17-4A.  That includes the 2 that we're in the regional final.  The proof's in the pudding...
Well if you wanna look at it that way then I can look at it this way. I'm not that big on the history of 17-4A in football but i would guess to the fact that the numbers of 17-4A are bigger after the second round compared to the numbers of 19-4A and 20-4A but this year we took a full sweep on yall. That proves that you can not always rely on the past.  8)
Not always, but of you wanna talk sweeps.  17-4A swept 20-4A last year in baseball.  It was 19-4A & 20-4A that beat 17-4A in football. (2 districts vs 1) Anyways, I'm ready for some baseball!

 19. Very well said Grad.  This site is awesome and you are major part of its success.  All the time I missed from work to attend live events, I'm paying for now, but it was well worth it.  Just wanted to say thanks to everybody that makes this site what it is.
SURE and Tremund Moore was held to 3 catches for 19 yards against OZEN, I would rather have seen Brown make 1st team he is a GREAT TALENT and showed it on the field
Moore was great this year, but not good enough for first team.  I'd say honorable mention for him, 2nd team for Cole, and first team for Brown.  Not my job though.

Outlook: We lost a lot, but we return great pitching, and big time player in Jesse Baker.  We will be looking to make our 29th straight playoff appearance.  If we can navigate through the gauntlet known as 17-4A, we will contend for our 4th straight regional title. (It would also mark Brenham's 17th tourney appearance, and possible 8th state championship) First thing's first, and we need to take things one game at a time.  It's a long season and in order to be successful this year, we will need several newcomers to step up.  With that being said, this is Brenham and we will look to reload, not rebuild.
