1. 2010 Brenham Cubs- Surrounded by D1 talent and returning from a state finalist run, we were bounced in the first round by Kingwood Park, in KP's first playoff appearance.  What a disappointing season. 2.  2011 Brenham Cubs- Returning a loaded defense and playing with a chip on our shoulder, this team was projected as state championship material.  They would have to get by with a few first year starters on offense.  After dominating all year, this team once again fell short, only making it to the second round.  Brenham's best defense ever did their job, but the offense which had surprisingly overachieved all year, finally choked. 3. 2005 Brenham Cubs- The most D1 talent the Cubs have ever had.  A couple of key turnovers cost us, and we lost in the semi-finals.

They might have very well been.  When I said that Ozen could beat La Marque was not a shot at the La Marque program at all.  Myself, and everyone that follows high school ball has much respect for La Marque's program.  I was simply saying that Ozen is a legit team, with good coaching, and good players that have gotten it done.  La Marque probably SHOULD win on Saturday, but remember that Brenham was SUPPOSED to win yesterday.  You will not see me cracking on anyone from La Marque, Ozen, or Manvel.  Good luck to La Marque and Ozen this week. [/quote] You might say without seeing Brenham and knowing that they lost to Ozen that they are overrated. This team has a lot of fire power very good players and I can see why they were hyped up like they were but poor coaching killed them. They lost by 4 and didn't capitalize on 4 red zone posessions that resulted in 0 points. They think they are too good to kick the field goal against a 4 seed. Ozen is very good. La Marque is very fast I think this will be a great game. Go Panthers [/quote] We also had 2 TD's called back. (one on the long screen play that they said we stepped out, and the other was about a 4 yd TD run, called back cuz a receiver 10yds away got called for a hold)  Either way, we lost, so it doesn't matter now.
