1. Hey guess what? No one cares about JV.  :o
 2. he's also like rated #16 nationwide on MaxPreps... #6 In the state.
 3.
Well the line at the county library finally died down and I'm glad ,been standing there since the game ended Friday night, now let me start with, what a game! Huffman was as good as their record showed, Deberry and his recievers are really on the same page, and their defense was well prepared for us. Coldspring made a few more better plays than Huffman did,the refs were equally bad both ways, the Trojans secondary was better than everyone thought, you can say coulda, woulda, shoulda it doesn't matter now, congrats to Coldspring and I wish Huffman the best of luck in the playoffs, they will surely represent the district well. By the way Beechnuts the "pulpwood" bussiness is really slow, but I've come up with a few ways you can help  1) get all of your kin folk to trade in all of their old trailer houses on some new ones, 2) lay down some new pallets and plywood from the highway to their new trailers, 3) stop cutting your own firewood for your wood heater, 4) stop using old port-a-cans for your deer stands and portable buildings, 5) stop using your sleaves and cut off underware for papertowels and toilet paper, dont worry about saving a tree, do your part and buy some " new " wood products. Thanks
I actually do get paid one day out of the year for splitting logs all day with my buddy's dad's wood burner for heat.  8) YEAAHH HUFFMAN!
 4. we can play the blame-the-stripes game all day long, (but yes, there were calls that both sides didn't like), but CS simply outplayed Huffman at many points. Both teams fought real hard, and our guys have no reason to hang their heads after last night.. they played a hellov-a game. Both will do well in playoffs.  ;)
 5.
The key will be Coldsprings D-Line putting pressure on Huffman's QB. I think Coldsprings secondary is probably their weakest point. I say this one is a toss up.
almost exactly my thinking.  :-X
 6. any broad/telecasts on this game? Surely game-of-the-week material.  :-\
 7. I'd also love to see Tarkington pull it out.  :)
 8. As others have said, I can see both making it past round 1, potentially CS past round 2. Depending on the cointoss, Huffman V. Silsbee will either be at Lamar, or in Humble? I hear?
 9. HURP COLDSPRING IS FAST. Yeah. They are. Know what they don't have? A MaxPreps ranked #23 QB in the nation from ANY division. I know many don't like MP, but stats are stats. Facts are, Coldspring's secondary won't be able to sufficiently handle our passing game, and I worry very much so about their running game. Those calling out 20 point rolls are straight up silly.
 10. Tarkington's punter, I hear he has the most punts/game.. he's getting good.  ;)

 12. In any case, After Friday, I'm gonna go... WOS 37 Silsbee 21
 13.
This could be the game of the week.  Coldsprings has one of the best, if not the best running back in the area.  Huffman's balanced and not to shabby either, especially their defense.  Gonna be a great game, for sure. I bet WOS is saying, oh boy, here comes Huffman again!   ;D ;D
I disagree. Our D is by far one of our weakest points. Our secondary makes me put my forehead in my hand sometimes. That said, our passing game is swift, long, and effective. CS's running does the same. And if you go back to the stats in 04' Vs. now, we're a, statistically, far better team than back then still.  :P
I haven't had the chance to see Coldsprings this year but i think EVERYONE has heard about them. Ill go with Coldspring by 3 or 4 td's because im sure when they get up they're going to want to rest their players for the playoffs.
you must still be delirious from being rolled.
 14. this IS the game of the week, not even a bias for my team. I have to do this, Huffman 47 Coldspring 42 ;D Let the trashtalking begin
 15.
hate to be rattling the tiger cage already, but... HJ? Really? I expected you guys to wreck
edit: can't say anything after our first half.  :-[

 17.
The best part of this game could be watching 2 bands attending uil area marching tomorrow @ sfa. Good luck to both Bands
I'm a member of such band.  thanks.  8)  Under all new direction, we'll be hard pressed but surely amazed if to get a run at state.
 18.
Paintball is getting more confident as the week progresses :)
yes, but I never remember making a prediction with this matchup in another thread? Hmph. Odd  :P
 19. Predictions thread. Go  8) Huffman 42 Cleveland 7
