1. I see it being Coldspring, Liberty, Then Huffman. but I hope my boys prove me wrong
 2. Although huffman lost a lot of talent with last year's seniors, there's still plenty to take HJ by a lot.
 3. Agreed. It made me smile to see CS beat both Kirbyville and Athens. Go CS. Represent our district well!  :)
 4. what a season. I'll keep officiating call disputes to myself, and I hope others do as well. I couldn't be more proud of my class GL to Navasota
 5. Hoping the fans will be as pumped as they were for the Silsbee game.
 6.

Our last round two loss in 04' was to... Palestine?
That WOS team was crazy stacked as. One of their players is now on the seattle seahawks (Earl Thomas) they also had Deion Beasley who went to UT...Huffman shocked the world. But for this year, both teams have athletes and I think it will be a shootout that Huffman will come out on top in Huffman    38 Navasota  31
dj you so ripped my prediction.  8)
 7. Tarkington's freshman team came and visited our home stadium this year, I was on my way out when I took a glance at their visitors side.. NO ONE. Not a SINGLE person supporting their freshman! There MAY have been one atheletic trainier, but otherwise completely empty.  :-\
 8.
Just curious, how many people on here also picked Silsbee over Huffman...... ????
a lot.  :-X
 9.
(falconfanatic) I'm not from Coldspring but .... Huffman you have a great town with deep pockets and I think that is great, your schools are great and the complex is the best in these parts for 3A. If I could I would move my kids over to go to school there in a heart beat. But can't understand why some of your folks have to take shot at Coldspring and keep crying about a game you lost fair and square. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks.
watch yourself.
 10.
COMPARING BY NUMBERS.... Scoring Averages:                Q1      Q2    Q3    Q4      Final Navasota   6.0     13.1   5.8   6.3      33.6 Hargrave   12.3    15.4  11.3  9.9      46.3 Record: Navasota: 9-2 Huffman:  9-2 Rushing yards per game: Navasota: 180.0 Huffman: 162.1 Passing yards per game: Navasota: 180.6 Huffman: 299.3 Total yards per game: Navasota: 360.6 Huffman: 461.4 Tackles per game: Navasota: 81 Huffman:56.6 Points per game: Navasota: 31.1 Huffman: 46.1
but when you account the difficulty of the teams in Huffman Vs. Navasota's districts....  :P
 11. If we can get our defence polished up, we'll have a good game on our hands. Huffman 38 Navasota 31
 12.
How many players from Huffman played both ways in this game?
I can't give a number, but more than you'd think. As far as officials go, there were bad calls for both sides. I'd say I saw both coaches screaming at them evenly... that may be my favorite part of HS football.
 13.

How big was the crowd??
39,715
hahaha
 14. I always feel like I'm posting from an away bench.  ::) Great game, both sides. That was probably the most energetic I've seen a HS football crowd, to be quite honest... any 1A-5A. Lamar's stadium is beautiful, as we were approaching it... I asked the kid sitting next to me "what's that flashing on the horizon?" turns out it was the video-scoreboard.  :o It was a battle of offensive titans, really. many good plays, real exciting. We'll see who wins out of Navasota And Sealy.  ;)
 15.
Raining over there?
forecast says it'll be clear in beaumont tonight. It's raining in Huffman now, though.
 16.

I hear Lamar has recent field renovations?
Totally refurbished stadium. I haven't been inside yet, but it looks great on TV. I think you will be very impressed!
hoping it'll be comfy to march on  8)
 17. Liberty may have a bit of fight in them, enought to overcome CS? No, but Liberty hasn't ever been one to lay right over
 18. Yes. Thursday night at Lamar's stadium, most likely with Silsbee judging by this week's matchup. It's a Thursday playoff game as Huffman's stadium is hosting another game on Friday, so I hear... not sure why that means we play Thursday, but okay. Yaaayyy 4 hours of sleep before class...  :(
