ST413 bet they keep it quiet!!!!  bball2011 he came from Tyler Chappell Hill and had been Kountze's girls coach before also!!!! I understand the parents but the guy knows basketball, hate to see it for the kids, they were a well improved team and IMO think this was the year they had a chance at the playoffs.  Lot of talent and good coach.  That's what happens when you bring in a real coach with no ties to the community.  Yes he yelled and screamed but they were competitive.  I know they beat Kountze(with several out because of grades) but like DOVE says it was a win against Kountze and then you take their coach away from them after a great win for the team.  Hard too swallow for young men who probably don't understand what's going on anyway, as you can see by the results after his removal.  Just hope the kids can bounce back stay competitive.

HOW BOUT A HUGE SHOUT TO GLENN ROBERTS!!!  Glenn was battling a virus since Thursday.  But when he needed to step up, he was there.  I've never seen him come out the came on his own and it happened last night.  I salute him for his efforts last night and he continues to amaze me when he's not even close to 100%!!!!  Go BUCS!!!

Heard Kountze just cant stop EC big play offence!!! And EC's D is being the same smashing D!!!!

Heard the other day he had 5 off season underclassmen run the mile in 6 mins. Sure many of the football players will!!!!!

Kountze 120 to 50 it will be bad. This EC teams just is not good at all. :( :( :( :( :(

Who is winning or won

I just hope Coach Rice will get hired next year at some school in the area.  He's a good coach and is an asset to SETX schools.  You never know what gym he will walk into during the summer.  He's always there supporting his guys.  GOOD LUCK Coach Rice!!!

Sorry for HJ's loss of Ricossa.  Bad timing as it happens right before District starts.  Congrats to my Bucs for shutting down the three outside shooters of HJ to 21 points.  Granted both teams coming off a long weekend and high intense basketball.  This is a great confidence builder for EC.  If you watched them this weekend they only got better with every game they played.  Lookout Hardin because we are coming to your gym ready to play and WIN!!!!  Go BUCS!!!!

EC, they did lose two good players last year but Penny has them playing good.  They made it to the championship game at Nederland Tourney(Lost to Baytown Goose Creek Mem), won the Warren and Bridge City tourney.  Bad thing is, they have one senior starting and one senior on the bench.  Everyone else is underclassmen!!! GO LADY BUCS!!!

Great year Bucs!!!!  You guys have nothing to be ashamed of!! Everyone was picking you not to score nothing and to get 14 pts. in the first quarter(I know that was it) but that was awesome, no one laid down like they thought you would!!!  Give it to Daingerfield, with D1 quality players like they have, I predict no one beats them!!!!!

Your Price's, Evans', Martel brothers, Valastro's are hard to come by.  With the politics on the Hill, I hope they can find someone good to replace Coach Price!!! Living in Chambers County, politics are thick and hopefully it won't cause a problem, I'm sure it will, because the KIDS need someone there who is a coach on and off the field!!!  Good Luck BH

The way they are quitting football, they should hit the floor during athletics.  Unless that coach said you quit football, you quit all athletics!!!  It's ashame that happens in High School sports because no one likes the coach!!  H-F has good kids and good athletes, EC is better, and H-F want go out and try to find a top of line coach.  And you know BlueDove, H-F had good quality teams several years ago and the last with all the changes in coaching, it has gone down.

I heard next year every Chapter will be UIL.  So no more TASO, it's ashame that UIL will be overseeing everything now!!!  :-[

Yea i think ec 7th should have beat anahauc but to much speed from anahauc ec dont have alot of speed but i watched them practice an they have got alot better does kountze have some speed
