Said it would be low scoring... i predicted 17-7 SC.....not to shabby

I don't see a single thing i'd change in the 3/4/5a poll.

This is gonna be a lower scoring game in my opinion... BH is gonna control the Clock... but regardless I'll take Sc in this one... by 7 17-7 or some such.

Livingston [b]Predictions[/b] Scenario 1v1 Dayton vs Central (I'll take Dayton) Nederland vs SC (not touching this one with a 20 foot poll) Crosby vs livingston (would be an awesome game... two teams that stop the run and run the ball) BH vs. Vidor (GN BH) i'd predict a 1-1 with 2 games that will decide which district does better, probably a split with Nederland beating SC and Crosby beating Livingston. 1v2 Dayton vs. Vidor Dayton again SC vs. Nederland same as above Crosby v. LCM Crosby... would be the favorite i'd think BH vs. Livingston I'd take BH with this matchup... those boys can stop big run teams, Crosby is their Achilles but they have a good defense. 2v1 SC v. Central SC Dayton vs. Nederland (What a show down... I'd take Nederland despite playoff histories) Crosby vs. Livingston same above BH v. Vidor same above This scenario i i think that 20-4a has an edge... and its a 2-1 with one toss-up game Crosby/Livingston 2v2 SC vs. Vidor Dayton vs. Nederland Crosby vs. LCM BH vs. Livingston I honestly believe this would be the most competitive set of games possible... SC vs Vidor's run game... Dayton's prestige vs. Nederlands State contender, Crosby vs. LCM to schools that are similar in they've had bumps but both are explosive offenses, and Livingston vs BH huge Rush defense vs Great rushing attacks... would be a fantastic game.

WOSGrad needs to change the standing the cougars are ahead of the BH eagles in District 19-4a both have 2 losses but Crosby Beat BH meaning as of right now we are ahead. The only scenario in which Crosby Doesn't get the 3 seed and wins out is. BH beating SC and Dayton Beating SC leaving 3 teams with 2 district losses meaning itwould come down to a tie breaker between the three schools. most likely SC would win the tiebreaker with the huge numbers they put on Crosby, once that tie is broke the Cougars would more than likely (unless SC gets blown out by BH) still remain the 3rd team in district because once three way is broken it's head to head again. which crosby won vs BH. so Bh would have to beat SC by 29 Points and then have Dayton beat them as well. which would make them second in district. and SC third and Crosby 4th. This is the only sceario in which Crosby wins out and loses 3rd place. Most likely you'll have a 0 loss team a 1 loss team a 2 loss team (crosby) and a 3 loss team (BH)

They said Aston fumbled inside the 20 when his knee was down and they showed it on the replay screen (at least once they did), KP scored. They said our player touched a punt and KP recovered. Replay shows he didn't though. The td they gave KP one their opening drive of the second half the kid fell out of the endzone and was laying on the ground, the nearest ref signaled incomplete but the umpire came running in and overruled for the td. The KP fans all said "augh", then the ref by the play got overruled and they started cheering. I bet Crosby had over 150 yards in penalties, most of which were extremely questionable. KP got 4 timeouts at the end of the game too, the sidejudge from Crosby's side came running on the field with 3 fingers up when KP called a timeout but the referee held up 2 and waved him off. They tried to give them the game but their kicker missed field goals, ours made his. Missing 14 pts is what I would call a wasted opportunity. [/quote] The honest truth is we've had more yards in every game we've played except the Nederland Game, we do have better stats, but the real issues are field position, and turnovers. If the cougs could learn how to catch a punt and when to let one go we'd be a much better football team, conversely if we had a better punter we'd be a better team as well. The cougs have played tough with everyone they've played this year the 2 blowouts have been due to huge mistakes and good opponents making us pay for them. The our other QB is better would have changed the game people. Crosby has a very good safety that's out for the season previous to this game, if the cougs had there D1 talented Safety in the game maybe you don't score...  If your going to What if everything. What if the Cougars didn't give you the ball with less than 30 yards to go 3 times? What if the Cougars had ran the ball more? What if the Cougars had not thrown the ball on 2 and 1 on the 1 yard line. What if the Ref had called that third down heave to the endzone in which it appeared the receiver bobbled the ball all the way out of bounds an incomplete pass instead of a TD? What if you had made that field goal, and the cougars where actually trying to score instead of simply run the clock out in the 4th? So play your games but every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and with those one play call in a game this close probably cost your team the game, i'd venture to say it might have been icing your own kicker.

Seems like lately its been a triangle for 19-4a.. Dayton Beats Crosby who beats BH who plays tough with Dayton. Congrats to Dayton on the win... now please beat the piss our of SC.

actually both CEKING and humble where eliminated last night. and for KPK to make the playoffs they'd have to win out with either Crosby or BH losing out. Given there opponents and Crosby and BH's remaining schedule that's not going to happen. Looks like 19 4a is SummerCreek/Dayton D1 1. Crosby D2 2. BH D2

If i'm not mistaken as of last night humble was eliminated from the playoffs due to BH and Crosby having 4 wins.

Kp's kicker missed 3 fieldgoals, yet 2 of those where handed to KP by crosby punt team. and one was a good interception. I think that kid at 20 is a ball player, he's extremely athletic and had good chemistry with number 4 at times they where throwing to spots and both people where making a play. The honest truth is nothing could have gone worse for the Cougars in the First half and a win is a win is a win is a win.

[/quote] I think this gives too much value to picking the state champion... it'd be better if you get 10 points per round, and then smaller bonuses for the different distances like each team you get right each round is worth 10 getting a area finals team is 50 finals four 100 championship game 150 but if you picked the state champion you'd actually get 210 points vs if you picked the loser you'd get 200 given the loss just a thought

I honestly believe if crosby can find a corner, we can do well in the playoffs, it's all about kids playing the position better, or coaching staffs protecting them with schemes, Crosby's defense will become very scheme oriented in the playoffs, (most the time). Crosby wants to play a 3/4 not a 1/2 and with the current rankings thats probably the case. given crosby is 4 students smaller than dayton... watch out D1 could be nederland/Dayton or Summer Creek first round of playoffs that's a tough game.
