Here is the point breakdown Ozen : +14 LCM :  +6  (pending tonight's game) Central : -20 (pending tonight's game) Note: **Points from now on mean nothing** Central is out if they lose next week to Nederland (if Ozen beats Lumberton), regardless of tonight's score because they can't catch Ozen on points. They would be, at most +1 on the points. Ozen's +14 wouldn't change. It's a stretch but Central could still get in even if they lose to Nederland if Ozen loses next week to Lumberton and LC-M loses both games. If LCM loses this week and next week (which is required for this scenario) then Ozen is in if they beat Lumberton. So in theory, tonights game means squat for a points tiebreaker. If LCM drops its last two games, Ozen is in with a win. If LCM wins tonight, LCM has clinched since they would hold the heads up tiebreaker against Central. Ok so summary. Points mean nothing tonight because if LCM wins, Ozen and Central are out for sure with 4 losses.. If Central wins, points still mean nothing because they will need to beat Nederland to get in as well. If they do that, they are in regardless of what the outcome of Vidor/LC-M is. Even if LC-M upsets Vidor, there is no points tie-breaker because it's two teams with 4-3 records and Central would win the heads up against LC-M. So, in essence, Central and LC-M control their own destiny. For Ozen to be in : W against Lumberton, a Central loss to Ned, and two LC-M losses. For Central to be in: W against LCM AND Ned ---- OR ---- W against LC-M, Ozen loss, LC-M loss For LC-M to be in: W against Central OR Vidor Remember, points are established so they mean nothing from here on.. This past summer Mr Q went to the BYU summer camp and was tried out at RB and Safety.... they said he was to small for RB position but did do better than anyone else at the camp... he was awesome at Safety ... We will see... he will do a 2 year mission for the Church of Latter Day Saints before going on to College at BYU... at least like Jolly Roger said that is what was announced during Sr Walk...

The Bears always play us tough in their house... I am not sure how the coaches will set up for play next week... I am sure of one thing they will have them prepared and the back ups ready just in case they want to go into Starter Rest mode.... I just don't see Coach wanting to give a game up.... I think if it gets a big lead we will pull starters but if its tight I think he stays on course with the gas mashed to the floor!!! I just do not see him doing anything that would mess up the rhythm of the team the last game of the season....

I do not think Vidor approaches this game any different... no need in having a let down before play-offs... i would think KATY BAR THE DOOR FULL STEAM AHEAD for The Mighty Vidor Pirates and The Black Pearl!!!

This was a great game in the 1st half... hard hitting hard nosed football... you hit me I hit you lets see who is standing last type of football.... The refs let this one get out of hand and it is what it is... other then a few cheap shots by both sides and some bad officiating for not stopping the game and telling both Head Coaches next Personal Foul will be an Ejection, i thought both teams played good football... Collins as an athlete is top shelf! But like some young men who get looked at by big D1 schools it has gone to his head a little... he was more of an I player then a team player in the end... #15 for Livingston has some great hands and decent speed... if their O line could hold back some Defenders for Collins they could be very deadly .... The Wrecking Crew from Vidor is probably not as athletic but they have that never say die mentality that keeps them going! Straight up Old School SHA BAM! football LOL Good Luck to Livingston in the playoffs if they stay healthy and keep their heads on square they could make some noise... Pirate keep working hard and moving forward!! 1 game at a time!! next up LC-M that is the only game we should be thinking about!! FINISH THIS SEASON BEFORE WE START THE NEXT!!!!!
