Me being one of them!! i like to sit front row in the middle on the visitor side! Now do i think that spot has to be reserved for me no! if i see somebody sitting there i will more than gladly sit on the home side...but if i had to pick that is the spot I would take because I can see everything! I can tell you this right now that there is a 99.9% chance that i will not have that spot for the HJ vs Silsbee game. 1. Because Silsbee will bring everybody and their momma,(i have no problem with that I love the BIG crowds that is what makes high school basketball so much fun!) and 2. I wont get off of work till 5 that day so I will be luck to even get in the door!! hahahah

any updates on the HJ game?

Well after about 15 hours of thinking about it I have come to this conclusion.

1. Free Throws either make or break a team (im not saying that this is the main reason why HJ lost the game but it was a big factor) no matter if I'm coaching my junior little dribblers team or watching the NBA making points with the clock stopped is a critical opportunity that each team has to utilize to their advantage.

2. Turnovers killed both of them...no matter if HJ won or if Silsbee won, both teams had way to many turnovers then they should have had.

Now with that being said, throw it all out the window cause its over there is nothing you can do about it. HJ its time to pick yourself up and dust your self off and go back to work on Monday. Its better to lose now then to lose when it counts in the playoffs. Silsbee congrats on the win, hands down one of the best high school basketball games i have ever seen. Yall deserve it!  the 31st can't get here fast enough!!!

Everybody is saying what should happen or what could happen. Both coaches know what they need to do to put their teams in the best position to win the game... It's going to be the little stuff that wins this game whomever dives for loose balls whomever makes their freethrows at a consistent rate. This is the biggest game the players will play in before they get to the playoffs. Leave everything out on the court and may the best team win!!

Well if I was to close then yes I would have might left 2 or 3 mins early ;)!! But since I have the morning shift I should have plenty of time!!

IMO its a win win for both teams...for evadale it helps by letting them play a tough team, they may not win on the scoreboard but in the long run they will be glad that they played the game because they will learn a lot as the season progress....for HJ it helps them get their legs back under them they haven't play a live in about a week even tho it was much needed rest this well help get them back in the swing of things.

On the first play was the only play that the defender made a basketball move on the ball. All the rest the defender made a move in the player trying to push down the player or air flip the man with ball. IMO the first play was the only play that was a legit foul all the rest are intentionally and should have resulted in an ejection

So does that mean the HJ game has been moved up or is it still on schedule??

I played for HJ and I'm a huge HJ fan....I don't get this feeling a lot about my hawkies but I got a bad feeling about tonights game vs LCM. Playing a team 4 times and less than a 2 month span is very scary..I will be at the game tonight, I sure hope my feeling is wrong about this.....
