It puzzles me the lack of size of this year Ozen team. On any given day in the hall ways of Ozen you see kids 6'3,6'4 walking to class. Someone needs to invite some of that raw talent to try out for basketball...jmo

Justice too long delayed is justice denied...Justice should be swift and sure...Allegedly this untimely accusation is not a complex case brought about by some disgruntled parent/fan. With 5 games remaining on the district schedule it's a tremendous disadvantage/obstacle to overcome...However assistant Mike Thomas has the team playing with a sense of urgency and confidence...Hopefully week 2 of this investigation brings about a ruling...This is not a supreme court case...jmo...

Imo his chances of pulling off another championship would be greater on the 5A level...Unless BISD goes to 2-high schools in Beaumont...jmo

Beaumont Ozen(15-6)(6-1)....Beaumont Central(15-7)(7-0) The usual excitement this game brings is some-what quiet on here..For the first time in a while it want be a doubleheader with girls playing first...Ozen girls will play at Central tonight with a 6-pm tip off...Central and Ozen fans lets talk it up a little. I've watched both teams play a few times this year. With that said Central on paper seems to be the front runner and the team to beat. Central has improved since the Gamble Classic. Ozen is still figuring out the puzzle with this very young team. The Montagne-Center usually presents a playoff atmosphere. If i had to pick a winner I'd say which ever team wins the margin of victory would be 8 or less..jmo.
