    PN-G keep doing what your doing good job. They say the same about us (Vidor) who have they played. Haters don't we love them. 5-0 great job but I will say I hope yall go 9-1...:)

    Vidor played Lumberton and Central....these three teams will bring PNG three losses.... 8)

    come on now quit dreaming ;)

    PNG didn't exactly impress against a banged up Nederland team.  All in all it was a good win against a bitter rival though.  PNG beats vidor or central and then they will have me convinced.  JMHO.

    What was the weakness though?  Your poll specifically mentions PNG has a weakness?  So what is it?  Is it the fact that PNG threw the ball for 270 yds?  Is it the fact that they wore the Ned. Defense down in the 2nd half with hard nose, north and south running by Harmon?  Is it the fact that PNG is now +12 in turnover margin? 

    If you are going to make a blanket statement like that, you got to support it with some factual basis.

    1/2 half nederland controlled the game that is essentially what I was referring too.

    I wasn't at the game and had to rely on what I read about it.

    PNG and Ned posters were saying things like:

    "Who said a deep playoff team? I just hope we get to the playoffs" PNG fan

    "Dogs did outplay PNG. Turnovers hurt. Hopefully the bring the same intensity to the 2nd half.  Defense held Harmon to around 40 yards, including long run"

    "IMO they've been wishy washy"  PNG fan

    "We must play better all around if we expect to make the playoffs. I believe Faircloth knows that as he said we must play better...I was really disappointed by how undisciplined we played as a team. Must play better from here on out."  PNG fan

    "This game could've turned ugly but PNG made several bone head mistakes." PNG fan

    "The Indians will have to step it up to make the playoffs, they have the talent."  Ned fan

    "If not for turnovers who knows what might happened..

    Indians must stop killing ourself with penalties..."   PNG fan

    I believe all of those statements to be honest assessments of PNG.  They are a solid team with work to do.  They have played a weak schedule to date and weren't overly impressive against a very short handed Nederland team.  Maybe my opinion is harsh but I will be the first to change it once PNG beats Central or Vidor.

    Don't worry about it.  It's just the hup poll.  All the triangle gurus will have you ranked 2nd.

    Hup, I'm not worried.  I know this is just your opinions.  It just seems like NO ONE in this area is giving PNG any credit whatsoever.

    no one has ran on png this year. not lcm,tex city,ned,bh or crosby.our defense is solid.if livingston runs all over us then  they'll be the first.my concerns are its our first road game this year and its week 6.we have really been our own worst enemy with penalties.clean up the mistakes and we win.

    It will be different being on the road. And from what I have heard you will not be able to take alot of fans along. Hopefully you guys don't get the officials we had last night! I have never seen so many flags on both sides!

    the refs have been a big downfall for us the last couple of games

    lets break it down vidor has nothing but a run offense,PN-G has the best run defense in our district, vidor has no defense, PN-G has a good run offense and a quarterback that can throw on you all night plus let me add a +12 turnover margin you do the math ;)

    Let me point out the Vidor D stepped up against Lumberton. I think wee are all getting better as the weeks pass. :D

    hey Im not trying to get hostile its really all out of fun and games. I really hope yall have just of chance as we do at making a deep run in the playoffs. What it all comes down to is the team that makes it the farthest this year will have all of our support.Thats what makes our area so special. We support each other. Good luck on a great year!!!!!!!!

    You people are crackin me up with all this Livingston is TOO BIG, TOO QUICK, and TOO FAST for PN-G.  PN-G hasn't played ANYBODY....that's why they're 5-0. 

    I'll tell you what I hear.........FEAR !!!

    I wish I could have seen Livingston Play. I have seen PNG on the Tube and I was not really impressed. I don't mean any disrespect although I am sure you will take it as such. I mean you guys are good, don't get me wrong. But you have not played Central, Vidor, or Lmberton. This should be a good test this week. If you blow Livingston out I will say I may be wrong. I know a guy from Lumberton who says Livingston is good so I have to think this will be a good game. Let me make a point here. You guys talk about Texas City and compare them to every other running team like Vidor and Livingston, but look at the Lumberton Livingston game compaired to the Lumberton Vidor game. People compare us to Livingston all the time, but thesen were too totally different games. There are differences in every team and one team will match up against another team differently due to these differences. My point is, assume you will beat Livingstan based on past outcomes with other teams and you may be wondering what went wrong on Saturday morning. Beat Livingston on the field handily and I think you go a long way toward getting respect, but play them like you did Nederland and you may be complaining that the bad facilities caused you to lose! Sorry just my humble opinion. OK NDN's pile on, I can handle it! ;D

    i am not worried what you or anybody else thinks about the indians, we will get yalls respect we may have to earn it but when yall come to the reservation i promise we will have yalls respect. you are obviously not at every game and seeing the improvement each game we are making and by the time we meet up with the better teams in our district i promise we will be ready. I have some contacts and i hope you all are scouting these games we have played already cause if you are honestly you dont know half of what PN-G has to throw at you coach faircloth knows what he is doing ;)
