That was awesome and super classy by coach roark you don't see that much I am pulling for angelton till they meet lake Travis if both teams make it that far

At the end of the day there were a few good kids worthy of this award, all of us in 20-4a should be proud that we got to watch some good football this year that made setx proud congrats to all the kids that made all district honors good luck next year

I have to agree, but Jones was not even the MVP for Ozen. They had Jones early in the season while Green was hurt and how did they do? You could stop Jones and Ozen would still win. Stop Green and Ozen Lost!

Quirante was very good for Vidor, but I agree Powell could have done the same thing for that offense. Which is why I was suprised that Collins got 2nd team QB over Miller!  Collins should have gotten 1st team DB. Now defensively it's hard to argue against Q for Defensive MVP. I also agree that I thought green was a much better play than Jones, Jones was good but green was a special kid but who knows what they were thinking when they voted there is always a couple picks that make you scratch your head

Angelton will be bigger faster stronger than vidor and would probaly win 8 out 10 times but there is something special with this vidor team, am I saying vidor wins maybe not but it wouldn't shock me for vidor to pull this one out crosby to big and athletic 42-20; mont. look vidor will always hate png and nerderland, in reality being from vidor i think that most vidor people are a little jealous of the fact that just about every year png and nederland are in the playoffs with a decent team and vidor makes the playoffs every 5 years or so, when i was in school we always got up to play png and nederland but never did i think that they felt the same way we did, vidor is the red head step child that nobody wants to play with, and vidor will never have a true rival cause it wants so bad to be rivals with png and nederland that it wont let any other school be rivals, such as lumberton, or lcm but at the end of the day friday vidor will still hate png and png will not really care either way

my wifes cousin was the backup qb for lake travis but the starter got hurt mid way thru the first quarter and baker came in a tore it up he is only a junior and the starter is a better rb so when he comes back look for lake travis to be even better
