Rogers went 6 for HJ and gave up a homerun and a run in the 7th. Monse came in and shut the door in the 7th. Silsbee made some errors, but so did HJ. HJ really hit the ball well.... and should have had a few more runs...they had 2nd and 3rd and bunted a pop up that turned into an inning ending double play. GOOD ATMOSPHERE FOR BASEBALL TONIGHT... I am still scrubbing my daughters pants right now...She was the little one who did a somersault on the pitchers mound after the game and then decided to rub the red clay all over herself! This season really seems like a re-play of last year.... It is a shame that district 22-3 a gets 3 teams in the playoffs and we have to leave several teams at home.... Silsbee, Jasper, BC, HJ, OF and HF could all probably win or at least come close to winning almost all 3A districts in the state.

You are correct...... sorry ... i was tired last night... 1. BC 2. OF 3. Jasper 4 Silsbee ** There was an error in the scores reported from the high jump... Jasper actually won 4th, 5th and 6th in that event... These points caused them to edge out Silsbee for 3rd. *** It was a shame that OF's relay team was DQ'd. They were clearly out of the exchange zone though.... Those points would have sure made for an exciting end to the meet.

Dylan Lundy had 2 Home Runs and Josh Rodgers hit a home run that may be landing sometime tomorrow morning... HUGE GAME FRIDAY!!!!

HJ loses Bernsen and Breeden.... Everyone else is back (along with a hopefully healthy Sutherland). They Varsity and JV teams should be loaded for the next few years.

I feel for the girls at HF... they have a pretty good core group, with some good ones coming up. This will be their 4th head coach or so in the past 6-7 years...

You guys amaze me some times.... If they had "beating a dead horse" as a UIL event, some of you guys would be 1st team all state! Let it go.... KK had a good year, carrying her team further than many people thought they woiuld go..... Green won MVP, though. Let both of these girls get ready for the next stage of their carreers....

Sloppy Defense on both sides.... HJ hit the ball well, but errors made this game alot closer than it should have been. Both teams will be fine if they can tighten up the screws a bit...

This is retarded.... I wish they would have a reality show, where coaches go to parents jobs and give them tips on how to do their job. I could see it now.... Coach Hooks yelling at a lady because she doesn't know how to use the copy machine.... That would be great tv!
