does anyone know if they plan on playing tomorrow vs hj?

Kirbyville JV vs. Hardin Jefferson JVgame cancelled. due to weather and travel concerns.

hj was missing 4 startign linemen due to injuries.... yes they were dominated, but this is the main reason they had trouble moving the ball... I bet most area teams would have a problem moving the ball against wos with out starters up front... good luck stangs for the rest of the season.

hj 9th game was 8:00 quarters due to weather coming in.... that way both games were going to be able to be played. 0-0 tie...... great defensive ball game. Both teeams had the ball deep in the others side of the field but came up short.... hj jv-0 wos jv-20 Penalties killed most hj drives.... wos scored on a blocked put in the 2nd half and scored again late in the game..

I was making that statement for all the 4 & 5A people..... I agree with you!

If you think only 2 teams should get in, answer this..... Do you think BC, Silsbee, Kirbyville, HJ, Orangefield, WOS, etc. could win the other 3A district with Liberty, Coldspring, etc?

i am going with thomas from east chambers. I know alot of people haven't seen him play and don't consider 2A "real football", but this kid would start for any team in the area. He plays every position and almost every down (both sides of the ball) I also think he has single handedly won 3 of ec's games this year. -Great Kid!

hj's jv is not horrible..... 7-0 vs bridge city 20-6 vs hamshire fannett beat ec lost two other close ones to cleveland and anahuac What has hurt have been fumbles. The D has played pretty good and the offense has moved the ball in every game... A little in experience in a few sports, but they will be ok.

not slighting hooks or barbay in any way, because their accomplishments and contributions to southeast coaches are numerous, but those two schools are loaded with athletes.... Do you think they could take their programs and go to Warren or Buna and be successful....? My vote is for Stump at Westbrook. He took a Kelly program that was in the dumps and turned them 180 degrees in 2 years and has now done the same thing at Westbrook.... Kids at both schools played hard for him!

i know 3 years ago for Kelly, we were playing for the District Championship and lost in 4 overtimes on a great catch by St. Thomas.... A loss for a district title is hard but 4 overtimes make it a little harder...

I would never play him...... I know every situation is different, but that Jv kid is now probably the 3rd string on the varsity in reality.....

I don't know about the lopsided predictions, but I do know that Bean, Guillory and Big Baby Randall are going to throw some shots at JD..... I say Kelly in a close one.... Passing game will be too much for BC
