  1. Passing killed us! On that note, much respect to Buna players and great play calling by the coaches. The energy in the stands was awesome! Told my coworkers I just wanted a good game, and even though I wanted Kville to win this time! maybe we will meet up with Buna again in playoffs. I don't think I'll be able to talk tomorrow from all the yelling. Congrats to the Cougars, got nothing but love and support for the Red and Black.
  2. ok, don't post very often, so if i have replied to something that seems totally random, i apologize.  Just wanted to add my 2 cents here.....I, as were alot of people, happened to be at the game.  Congrats to both teams.  WOS held off a Kville team that is hungry for a taste of what they had last year, and Kville stood toe to toe with what we all know has been a powerhouse 3A for years, and held their own.  BOTH teams can learn and come away from this game better, and better able to (hopefully) dominate their district and go far in the playoff run.  As for the "controversial" call at the end, leave it on the field.  Both squads know what they are capable of at this point.  Once again, congrats.

  3. My family and I are avid K-ville fans who followed them all the way to the state championship last year.  I've been reading a lot of posts, some that say negative things, about all teams, and while I realize a lot of it is smack, let me say there is nothing like sitting in the bleachers and seeing a team that has had an AWESOME season, not wanting to look into the stands because they were crying at their loss.  Our BOYS didn't even want us to recognize that they had accomplished anything at all, because they had lost "the most important game of the season".  It takes more than talent to win.  It takes that, along with great coaching, drive, determination, heart, the eyes of the refs and good old fashioned luck at times.  i know I may be a downer to the board, but just remember that in the end, these are kids.  That being said, best of luck to everyone out there.  I know our entire town would love to make a playoff run again this year.
