Love those Wildcats! Only picked by a few people in the "pick em" to win. Love proving people wrong. 

We are killing ourselves with penalties. And EC coach evidently doesn't know football is a contact sport.

I want to say that from where I was sitting, this was a clean game. When power is struggled over like it was during this game, often emotions run high and it's reflected in attitude on the field. The players were all helping each other up, saw lots if helmet taps and talking exchanged between the teams during the game. Afterwards during Kirbyvilles alma mater, the entire Rockdale organization stood behind our team and clapped when it was over before going back to their own side, which I thought was a class act. No doubt our guys are hurting this morning...super Proud to be a Wildcat

Thought I would chime in on ya'lls conversation with a point of view from a wildcat parent.....whitney wildcat proud parent. Before yall start doing the victory dance you should look at our kids stats, kick ass quarterback, leading receiver, and a running back yall will get to know real quickly. With that being said.......wait till yall's quarterback gets to know JT Estes, remember that name ( leads the entire state of texas in sacks, he is a pit bull. We will see yall soon!

No one is discounting your team. My remark said in my opinion, based on what team stats show, that our district was tougher, which I felt has helped us grow as a team. Your kick ass quarterback....etc achieved those stats based partly on the caliber of team he went against. If your district carried similar talent, I apologize now, I'm just not familiar with it. Our district has produced 3 of the top 10 teams in the state (according to rankings). With that being said, I feel we had a tougher district, and if we show up and play like I know we can, I've got the KIRBYVILLE WILDcats with the W by 2+ scores.

Todays the Day! Kirbyville takes this one....wonder if they'll let me bring a propane heater into the stands?

Read where since it IS hunting season, and they are the Elkhart Elks, that everyone should show up in camo....lol. Think a Coach Neece wants a black swarm in the stands though.

I didn't catch his name. Had on what looked like a coaches shirt. Malakoff on the lapel. Said he also attended when KV played at Buna. Seemed extremely knowledgable about the program. Sat behind us the entire game.

Spoke to a guy from Malakoff Friday at Kville vs EC. (He was also at KV/Buna) and he said Teague easily has a D1 quarterback. He said he thinks they will go all the way and bring home the championship. Just sharing that info from someone who has actually played them. With that being said, pulling for Kountze in this one! On a totally different note, this is the "Game of the Week" so I want all of my Kirbyville people to brush up on football terms. Lol

Actually yes I have. (Thank you Jess. I knew you'd have my back) I've been on my days off and very busy with many things, mostly hunting. Lol.. But this site is pure entertainment for me so my life doesn't revolve around it. I go for days sometimes without checking it even with internet access right in front of me. ~~ Now, to the game at hand....I pick Kirbyville by 11+. Jess it is uncanny that you know how I think.  ;)  :P

I know Wildcatbacker was busy this weekend hunting....and during the day unlike me, probably isn't able to access website from his place of employment.

I feel I know him well enough to predict he will take Kirbyville by 11+.....lol

I want Kirbyville to win this one. I would prefer by 11, to take #1 seed, but I still want the win, even if it's by 1 point, to put us sitting better in playoffs.  HOWEVER, if we have to lose another game, I pick this one, and not next week. just sayin.

I'll take my Wildcats in this one. Will be close. Should be a great game. I really want us to be #1 or #2 seed for playoff purposes ;)

Man I've never heard the stands as quiet as they were when Dennis was down. Thank goodness he's up moving around.

Spoke to Diggles dad and he said they are hopeful he will return for playoffs. But not before.

We have a running clock, only 1:52 in 3rd. No starters in on offense for kville. Still 53-0

There were so many people crowded around him I never saw the number. They loaded him up with helmet still on, but he have a thumbs up, so that's a positive sign. 53-0 half

40-0 Kville with 5:23 left in 2nd quarter. Hardin player been down a few minutes. Bringing in ambulance now. Prayers for that kid please! Can't see his number
