The 15 year old Nederland Babe Ruth All-Stars will be playing in Wharton July 5-7.  The team consists of players from Nederland, PNG, LCM and Bridge City.  Can't wait to see these boys play their game and come home as the East Texas State Champions!  The team includes:  Lane Ashworth (BC), Tice Campbell (NED), Justin Carr (NED), Tanner Doiron (PNG), Brock Fenn (NED), Cole Girouard (PNG), Colton Hicks (PNG), Kody Kolb (NED), Mitchell Lee (LCM), Jerry Molley (NED), Adam Morse (PNG), Parker Shults (PNG), Drake Trawhon (LCM), and Chase Warren (PNG).  Good luck to these boys!

That's not how I took that statement. From reading the story, I take it as 19 have applied, and from those applicants, there are 3 local coaches. It also went on to explain Scott Carter has ties to the area. I'm looking forward to finding out who our new coach will be! From a story last week, we should find out soon!

Summer Creek has a lot of talent with the recruitment from Humble High. The problem I see with SC as I watched them 3 times this past year is Discipline.
