  1. By far the worst officials I have seen in the league EVER! Two of them weren't man enough to call ANYTHING, and I'm pretty sure when the other one was running by I could see the glimmer of an EC jersey underneath his shirt. That was pathetic, those are perfect examples of scratch list qualified. Hats off to Deweyville, keeping the score close, hard to do when you play 8 people the ENTIRE game. If your going to throw a game at least don't make it as obvious. Pathetic. I'm not saying Deweyville would of won if they had a different reffing crew .. o wait yeah I am thats how bad it was (i know your never supposed to blame a loss on the refs but that was sorry). BOTH teams deserved better, and the fans who paid to watch that fiasco deserved better. Oh, and the best part was when they finally called a foul for Deweyville towards the end, get this is was a DOUBLE foul, LOL amazing. Now, EC did play VERY good the entire game, well coached, smart players, all-around solid team, hats off to them on the win, this post isn't meant to take anything away from them, just to point out the embarrassing crew that was sent out to "ref" this game.
  2. That was the best officiating job i have EVER seen. In such an intense game they did very good. They were very even the entire game, calls were missed on both sides but that happens its basketball. If u want to know why the game got out of hand in the last 4 minutes its the lack of blocking out, rebounding, contesting of shots, CONDITIONING, and time out calling ability, I will never question or try to give advice to a coach for ANYTHING they do (they have a very hard job especially when there are so many people in the stands who think they know everything, and I might sound like one of those in my next sentence but I don't really mean to), but when someone is gaining as much momentum as kountze was at the end you need to stop that run, not wait till your in 13 deep with 3:30 left. Deweyville played their hearts out and I know they hated to lose that game. I would say it was the most exciting game I have watched of the season. (especially for a team who wasn't supposed to be able to break the press lol) Good luck next time pirates. Get focused and go get the Bucs. woo woo
  3. Oh yeah, they have done an excellent job building the mens and womens XC programs there. Sita knows what she is doing and has built a team that competes with the big schools. Congrats to the coaches and the members of both the mens and womens team, they are dedicated and deserve everything they get. Goodluck in the future!
  4. No I've only pulled against Deweyville one time ... (the EVADALE game), I didn't give a heck of a care less about the rest of the games or who won... I'm not really a football person. :-X ;D
  5. I'm gonna say Hardin on this one, only because the team I want to win ALWAYS loses, so I'm sure that because i want Deweyville to win that Hardin will pull it out.
  6. LeTs Go ReBs! but I have no clue what the score will be.

  8. Dude steelerczy are you seriously getting this upset :? The preseason schedule of deweyvilles isn't going to prepare them for EC or Buna ect. :'(, and if they pull out of district to go to the play-offs (which they might or might not) then they really wont be prepared to go to deep. That isn't knocking the team or you or the coach or the town or little bobby the water boy ;D, that is just the truth, and sure their schedule got them to the playoffs last year but how far did they go? :-X I was there it was one (FREEZING COLD :'( (i'm speaking only of the weather not the actual playing)) round. With that said, LeTs Go PiRaTeS!!! (i really do hope they do well)
  9. Big Sandy has a really good team. Probably the best team in the area for small schools.... if u consider that our area.
  10. Let me clarify I was being VERY SARCASTIC.
  11. Now everyone isn't perfect, but that is a crap excuse to say you HAVE to cuss to get someones attention. When i was in school ... not too many years ago... running did the job just fine... this is just another excuse to let hot-headed immature male football coaches get away with even more...( i'll stop that one there), but hey thats cool with me while we are at it why don't we make it ok for the pre-k kids to be cussed at because their gonna hear it one day and little bob just can't seem to remember what letter comes after A ... and lets let the kids cuss back at the coaches, and refs, and fans, and other players, because surely those people have heard a cuss word... and o heres another idea ! if the kids still can't seem to pay attention why not just lay one on them i'm sure one good hit will get their attention then.... I mean seriously what will be after cussing? its ok to grab the kid or shake the kid or hit the kid.... this is how it starts and it just keep going from their.....
  12. no one will be going small division, the divisions are already split up before district starts, therefore they are all in the same division.
  13. i think they shoudln't do random drug testing, i think they should drug test EVERYONE, at my school everyone participating in school sports were drug tested, anyone that wanted to park on campus was drug tested, then everyone else that was left was randomly drug tested and i think thats the way it should be, it will keep everyone safer and levels the playing field somewhat.
  14. congrats, good luck all season, looks like things are going well
