We had a similar situation happen to the Beaumont Bulls....but the Senior Team was removed....why?  cause we kicked butt!!!....but the President of the league, who also coached a senior team, didn't feel he could compete with a team of our caliber....so, they just removed us....ASSUMING we stacked ONE team...not all our teams...just the one his son competed in... ::)

Sometimes you just have to deal with a hater that was given a lil more power....they still exist...as for all the racist comments by the kids...what can one say?...do the best you can in raising your kids...that's all one can do...

I don't know why PA was removed, but I can share the facts of my experience when we were removed from the other league.

The Banquet was nice but was not very well attended. All of them teams that made it to the playoffs were honored.
(Kelly, East Chambers, PNG, Nederland, Memorial, West Brook, Ozen)

All schools were represented but the B.I.S.D schools. It was mentioned that the Superindtendent did not want the teams to participate.

Had this happen to me a couple of times...I ignored it for years...I was caught in a bad mood during a rough game...I looked back at the parent and asked who his kid was....he told me his name...he had just been moved up from the JV...he never step foot on the field...I laughed...after that several parents stepped in and he was told not to say anything by the cops or he'd have to leave....lol...

Replaced all ceiling grid and tiles
Renovated RR's
Renovated Cafeteria
Repainted the old RR's under Durley
Hallways and lockers seem like they are from the 1960's...not sure if the will be repainting/replacing lockers

6/7 different General Contractors....in one case...one general contractor hung drywall on a RR ceiling...taped/floated/painted....in that same RR another General Contractor did the walls...so, yes...the ceilings and walls do meet at the corners..one guys job on another(finger pointing during walk thru)..anyone who works in construction knows this is no good....

yeah..I have a little idea what's going on...

[/quote]Alot! First, they determine a coach's salary, for one. If you aren't willing to pay Gary Joseph/Todd Dodge money, you aren't gonna get Katy/SLC results, ie State Championships. Two, what coach worth a darn, is gonna be willing to come to 'good ole boy' BISD, and try to win with a program that doesnt have the budget of a 3A school?! The trainer, at WB, has had the same budget to buy all the supplies that he needs to keep players healthy for an entire season, that he has had for the last 10 years. Basically, he has not gotten any more money in 10 years. I know for a fact, that for the last few seasons he has had to get what was left over from Central and Ozen, when the regular season was over, just to have enough supplies to make it through the playoffs. When you look at the big picture, as a whole, BISD and WB is not a very attractive place that one would want to go. Other that the fact that WB has a state title that was won 30 years ago, there's not much of a chance that WB will get a decent coach, unless they gamble on another unknown. Just sayin....
