Goodman didn't have that int return...it was our second string Defense that were on the field, goodman and the rest of the first D was sippin water...it was our back up MLB.

I was at the game and the WB D is very impressive. WB couldn't even buy a call though. Officials were terrible, half the time the head official wouldn't even let the press box or the coaches know what the flag was thrown for. :-\ You know what? The little group we was sitting by was discussing the same thing that the head official looked loss and never signaled what the call was. You must be one of the Pirate players I was sitting by... I think I was the only Mex in the stadium!!! not hard to find me in WB..

yes, we were better than I thought we would be. I was at the field house when the teams walked up at the half side by side and you could see and feel how Ozen was imtimidated by Da Brook. Intimidated??? Really, Ozen was intimidated? Wow that is shocking considering WB is a young squad. What's the Bruins secret? I love it, I get to see my team play so I know what to work on, we don't all have a complete O and complete D to go against at practice plus I can scout. I guess it's safe to assume, that until we start district play this smack talking will continue for the next couple of weeks....Vidors pre district schedule is easier than our middle school schedule...I guess that helps Vidor go into a tough 20-4a .... hey...whatever works... Why not leave this week alone....it's over. Let's start new threads on next week and hype it up!!! ;D ;D

You are right about that. You did predict this. I dissagree with you in that you say Ozen needs athletes. Ozen have athletes. they just wasn't put in positions to do damage last night... Or the more simple solution.... Brook stopped them from doing damage. The score board tells the tale, I guess. Maybe I should fess up and say that Brook is that good and Ozen is bad?? It's hard to be a critic from the stands at this level....we don't accept dropped balls, penalties, or turn overs as part of the game. Ozen did not look that bad and West Brook did not look that good, both teams will make drastic improvements in the weeks to come....their youth will get more and more comfortable as the season rolls on and the penalties, dropped balls, and turn overs will be minimized....we'll be alright 8) 8) 8)

That's an outright lie. I'm not from Kelly, but that is a lie. There were no parents saying that stuff. i discount your oppinion, were you there? i was... and i did hear them chanting that, and yes, there were people escorted out of the stadium Yes, I was there. Haven't seen the offense stats..... But for Defense, The West Brook Bruins Defense, came into Babe's and pitched a shut out!! causing several turn overs and scoring twice, one was called back....flag no where near play.

Good Team win.....I hope we continue to improve this week, those freakin penalties just killed us!!

No Prob, I thought Kelly's Best receiver was Ben Payton(1st TD), he's one that would be able to play at Da Brook.

But if it was, it was done by a very few kids, who obviously don't have the maturity to control themselves properly. Everyone I saw was very respectful, cheering for the Vidor band, etc. In fact, I saw the same from the Vidor fans. I just hate it when someone comes on with a broad brush and tries to paint a whole community a something that they are not. It was probably Kelly Basketball...she seems like sore looser :D
