i thought they were a bit over-hyped a few weeks ago until i found out who they had coming back on offense. Lufkin can win state. No they cant, and they wont! There's too many other good teams out there that will beat them when it counts. They got lucky in this game. IMO, WB didn't play to their potential and Lufkin caught them on a bad day. They will look like another team against Ozen next week. Stump will have them motivated and in playing form. Granted, we are going to have some growing pains, and will have a few bumps in the road along the way, but Ozen is definitely no Lufkin. It should be a good game. 85... I know you are a fan but, "A BAD DAy!?' That was too funny... I died laughing when I read it... 21-10 bad day maybe, 14-0 bad day maybe, 30 - 14 bad day maybe, 46-0 is an a$$ kickin!!!! Their potential will not rectify a 46 point beatdown!!! 46-0 is indeed an a$$ kickin and as for potential---well it is really going to suck to be the teams that get beat by WB this season. Yeppers --you got beat by that team that got its A kicked. ;D Seriously, 1 point or 46 points all tally as a one in the loss column. The good news is that my team came in second in the scrimmage last week and the other team came in second from last. Two years ago WB lost to lufkin 49-0 .... do ya'll remember who went to the play-offs? Do ya'll remember who won the Beaumont Bowl? Uhmmm..... 82 can you let them know please... :

I was there from the start. :o..It seemed like nerves or something...on offense we completed our first pass, ran for a couple, then it was like..... :-\, the QB ran for his life till half time. This was actually a real game, starters played 3 quarters(I think they worked a few people here and there). Defense played with those nerves too...I think it was 36-0 in at the half :-[ :-[(just poor tackling, did not look like us)....the third qtr it appeared the nerves had disappeared....3 and out for the first 8 minutes bothways. Westbrook drove all the way to the Lufkin 25 or 30 yd line the drive was stopped by a deflected pass that was intercepted....WB also dropped several passes(a couple in the endzone), like I said, very uncharacterstic....I hope we got all the nerves out this week....because ready or not we'll see Ozen come Friday!! 8)

I got to La Marque at 6:45 with the Central buses...Central got out off the bus...stretched while Eisenhower and La Marque finished up....they ran the last play and called it.... >...so the kids got back on the bus and came back home... I couldn't believe it....both La Marque and Eisenhower ran off the field like it was raining immidiately following the last play!!

Yeah, I have some boys on Central's Team I coached in little league(baseball & football)...My boy and "T" man have been playing together since they were about 4 yrs old, until they got to Jr high and High school....Oagletree was My DE, when they were 10 yrs old. Jacoby & Devin worked out with us in the evenings with the same trainer all summer....you kinda like to see how IKE and Central will match up too.

Does IKE scrimmage La Marque@ 5 pm then?

After the 1st Qtr. i dont know Sgt.... Last year even with an All American back Ozen lead after the 1st qtr.. I really think people have let the last 3 yrs get to them remember.. Ozen has only had 3 losing seasons and it looks like the panthers of old have returned but lets just wait only 1 week remains until alot of people get a real wake up call I think Ozen does turn the program around, I agree with that 100%. New coach, new attitude, new uniforms next year(it always happens with a new coach)....I was talking smack, bout WB being up by 14 after the 1st...honestly, being so early in the season, I don't see either one of us scoring very much, the best defense wins this....An Offense, in general, usually takes a couple of weeks to be close to full strength(last year our offense had seasoned Vets). This year we are younger....for the sake of both of our programs, I hope we work those kinks out in our scrimmages....I still think the trophy stays here at Da' Brook!!! :D ;D ;D
