Dumb, dumb, dumb, for Central to be in the shotgun so much.....

These boys seem more like real game announcers than the Preachers on 1340.  I'm glad 1340 started doing Ozen, Central, and PAM games but man, they sound horrible

Well I had the pleasure of working some of the linemen and Mr #44 over the summer.  To be honest, a recent grad of Central had those kids working out during the summer so right now, we're seeing the fruits of their labor.  Really good kids who listened when their weightlifting techniques were being critiqued.....

[/quote] Well Central couldn't run the ball consistantly on them.  GCM put 8 in the box and went man or cover 3.  Since #17 couldn't catch a cold so the defense was effective.....

GCM's front 7 are stout.  Poor play calling by the Jags and #17 dropping too many balls.  I think GCM's offense threatened the red zone once.  I'm nominating #44 Jacoby Hale as the defensive player of the week.  At least 10 tackles, 2 sacks, and numerous assist.....

I thought the SLC is the old Div 1-AA with the McNeeses and the Sam Houstons.... Anyway, I was impressed with #90 for PN-G playing the 5 tech.  #55 for Central was begging for plays to be ran on his side.  Good old fashion smashmouth football last Friday.....

Bend/Harris Co line.  At the end of the day, there's only a few  programs that have been playoff fixtures since the mid-80's.  WO-S and Newton here, Jack Yates, LM, Katy, and NS.  Well NS is probably the last as far as being consistant year in, year out......

LP won RTG's first year with play-action and running down hill.  They won last year when that North win blew into Stallworth thrawting the passing game of PAM.  This year, PAM will get exposed once again by not being physical enough to stop Thunder and Lightning....

Be warned fickle 5A fans.  Katy lost 3 regular season games last year and won state.  No need to throw dirt on NS just yet.  9 district titles, 78 regular season wins, and one state title in 10 years is nothing to sneeze at.  Of course, there's alot of 'what have you done lately' fanaticism in high school football.  No respect for one's recent history unless it's certain schools that shall remain nameless.  Some dumb arse compared LaMarque and their 5 rings to the situation in North Forest.  I haven't heard or seen anything dumber since Sarah Palin..... Anyway, there towns and schools east of the San Jacinto that would donate their left ventricles for one half of what NS has done in the last 10 years.  Y'all should show some respect.....

Saw Central vs. Friendswood there last year.  It sits behind a shopping mall right off I-45 so be prepared to sit on the feeder road for a hot minute.....
