This is another case of letting the wrong one get away.  Lydell Wilson of Lamar Consolidated was in the running when they got the other coach from Refugio that didn't last 1 year.  I know LC is struggling right now but just like PA made the mistake in letting Suggs go, LM did the same in not hiring Wilson......

[/quote] Well I will be that name you call me all day long.  Ever so often, you guys, the and the Bmt papers/media have nothing but negative things to say about Dr. Thomas and the new Stadium and how much this and how much that.  Simply put:  If you live inside BISD, move.  Otherwise STFU and let the whole of Beaumont enjoy the new facilities being built.  No one outside Goose Creek complains about the location of Stallworth and how all 3 GCCISD schools have to drive.  No one complains about Humble's or Fort Bends' or Cypress-Fairbanks stadiums and how all their schools have to drive kids there(for the exception of Humble High).  So be happy for PNG's stadium and we'll be happy with Beaumont's.....

It's his freshman group.  I wish he had that kind of success in the fall of '05 with PAM's freshman group but Rita and no Jamall exposed alot of shortcomings.....

If I offended anyone, I apologize in advance.  But this is how I see it.  [/quote] Mike Owens, man please.  Eventhough they beat Cujo Friday, his magic dust for the most part has ran out @Tyler Lee.  Btw, he's a TJ alum too.  I agree PA missed a good one in Suggs but other than that, they contine to hire Ex-TJ folk.  They tend to make a simple game such as football seem hard as Calculus and it's not that hard.  As far as the merger of 3 schools, when one digs deeper into PAM's demographics, with the Asian population never playing football and the growth of Hispanics, PAM's really a 5A school with big 3A participation but even still, this team had the talent to at least continue to win after beating NS.  Looks like plain ol big headed-ness from the kids but I put that on Xbox for not getting them mentally prepared to play.  I hold him accountable for the emotional highs and lows he and his staff go through during the course of a game.  I know it's easy to get emotional each play but the HC has to be the calm during the storm----good or bad.  Can't get to high or to low.  And you have to learn how to move on after a big win or a big loss because the kids feed off that energy.  One game at a time, hell, one play at a time.  I guess that's how C'view's coach were able to keep his kids heads dispite an 0-8 campaign until last Friday......... Well enough with my rant........
