  1. Oh I forgot, the sensitive posters on here get upset very easily.  Some of you people were on here yesterday were accusing the coach at orangefield of being a liar and a cheat.  All I do is complain from time to time about playcalling and get attacked by you 3 or 4 people.

ALL you do is complain about play calling.  I guess we should all come to baseball games and complain about your umpiring!

  2. Back to the original question, this is NO BIG DEAL!  WO-S simply runs to the middle, a couple of kids jump on the pile and then they leave.  Some posters act like they are kicking up the grass and destroying the logo and tearing up the field while mocking the other school.  Anybody that knows anything about the WO-S program knows that the coaches would not allow that AND that the players at WO-S are some of the most respectful young men you will ever meet and they would not do this to disrespect another school.

  3. We, meaning the Mustang fans and players can always count on you for a positive outlook. I sure hope that when you coach you act different than you do on here and all because you think you know so much more than our coaches. I don't think I have ever been so shocked over one persons post than the ones that you continue to post. That being said it's a message board and you are entitled to your opinion. I will just keep reading and continue to be amazed at how much smarter you think you are than our coaches.

    Good post td.

  4. D1 doesnt look anywhere the same as D2. I see only Royse City and Wylie as strong teams. Mostly everyone else is playing.500 ball.

Kicker- you must of missed Gilmer.  They are LOADED!  I watched them hang 71 on Tatum a few weeks back.  They are huge up front and very athletic at the skill positions.  The rb has already committed to OU and the qb is a sophomore that is about 6'3" 195lbs.  He is very mobile and throws the ball well.

  5. Haha.. yeah I'm very proud of our guys too. Win or lose, I'm sure they'll do their best. And hopefully our guys can keep their heads and finish it with a win. Yeah, I don't see the purpose in them talking censored on us either but it's fine, we have a very good team and that's all that matters. We'll see what's right tonight.[/color]

Are you serious?  Have you read the posts by k-villeballa and skankbar(sp) regarding WO-S?

  6. alrighy WO-S92 i really dont think that you should down K-ville like you do cause as you see people have looked at us like "oh their just a small 3A school" but have you looked at the statistics..Kville is expected to win state soo i would just say that you shouldnt over look us like that because we might just come around to bite in the butt

This may be the funniest post of them all!  Nobody in their right mind expects Kirbyville to win State!

  7. Also, I'm pretty sure the reverse was NOT on the goal line, and is NOT the thing that sank us. Four concurrent plays from the Giddings one yard line were the cause of the outrage. We had a 6'5 QB, but threw two passes and a pitch before finally running a sneak (from shotgun on fourth). I know that if the passes were caught, it would have looked really fancy and flashy. Personally (and I'm not qualified to call plays), I would have run the sneak with our freight train QB four times from a yard out. If it didn't work, kudos to a monster D.

  8. The WO-S so-called "faithful" make me sick.  You sit here and hammer a man on a public forum and hide behind a screen name.  Or you go home after a game and think about something that "may" have worked and then a couple of days after the fact you decide to write something up and publish it in the local paper.  I can't believe the OL would publish this garbage.  This is HIGH SCHOOL football where 15-18 year kids are playing, not College or Pro.  You hammer a man that has devoted everything he has to that program.  A man that truely cares for the kids at WO-S.  Since he has been there, WO-S has won 80% of the games he has coached and you say that is not good enough.  Like other people have said, go get your degree and become a coach and take his position.  Now consider that you must leave your house around 6:30 every morning, teach class all day and then coach football and not get home until around 9:30 every night 7 days a week, all for not alot of money.  It is really easy for you to sit there in the bleachers and watch a game and call plays after the fact.  You want to blame a man for "destroying" a program, I think it is YOU that is destroying a program!  The players get on these boards and read this stuff, and what do you think that does for their confidence in their coach when all you "adults" do is bang on this guy?  The one thing I hope the WO-S players don't do is let outside forces tear down what they have worked so hard for!

I coached at WO-S from 1998-2005 with Coach Hooks, Coach T, both Coach Foremans, Coach Crouch, Coach Dyer, Coach Ragsdale and several others and they are ALL dedicated to doing what is best for the students at WO-S.  I've seen first hand the extra things these coaches do to make sure the kids at WO-S have every opportunity to succeed not only in athletics but in life in general and I think WO-S is extremely fortunate to have all these men representing them.

  9. My son plays indoor at BlueSky Sports Center in Keller.  There is one in Keller and one in The Colony here in the MetroPlex.  There are also other indoor facilities in Southlake, Arlington, Dallas, Euless and Mesquite.  These facilities are unreal and make a ton of money.  They have leagues from U5-U18 in boys and girls and then start with mens, womens and co-ed in all ages from beginner to advanced.  They stay extremely busy.  Monday-Friday they start at 4:30 pm and the last game begins at I believe 11:15 pm.  They play 2 20 minutes halfs with a 2 minute half-time and 3 minutes in between games.  If you are not ready they start the clock and you just lose playing time.  On Saturday and Sunday they begin at 7:30 am and the last game starts at 11:15 pm.  They play ALL day and NEVER run behind.  They are very well organized.  They run 4 seasons, Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer and are always booked for every season in every division.  They charge $650 per team which gets each team 8 regular season games plus play-offs.  They also have a Karate room, basketball court and workout room along with the main soccer field and the small soccer field for the younger players.  They have a concession stand and a retail shop.  If someone in the Golden Triangle would open one up they would make a ton of money.  Think of the development that the players in the triangle would get if they had a year round indoor facility to train at.

  10. I think that would be between the coaches and Salter no one else knows all the facts but them. Sure he could sit but with football you have to play the players that give you the best chances to win. you can be injured at anytime. Just ask Nederland. Should he have sat out until district? Good question. I know this is different but ultimately this would be up to Salter and the coahes.

    1.  Are you saying that the Win is more important than the kids health?

    2.  Big difference here, Nederlands QB was not previously injured when he got hurt lastweek.  The Salter kid is injured and trying to rehab his injury.

  11. Who gives a flying whoot about him going 0-8 against MC teams, if thats what you want to argue then I can say that he left with a 1-1 record against Dan Hooks and the win came against the same 2000 team that went all the way to the state title game. You see I dont know about you but as a parent what I look for in a program and a coach, is not only a winning coach which he was even in his first year with no seniors but a coach who emphasizes getting young men to the next level and not just using them to put wins on his resume. You see thats what Arthur Louis put in me and thats what helped me earn one of those scholarships and thats why Im now doing the same thing that someone done for me and thats the type of coach my kids will play for. With all that being said good luck to Coach Rison but BISD really dropped the ball a few years back and it finally showed it last year.

That 2000 WO-S team went 15-1 losing only in the State Championship.
