1. Any word on Little Cypress' Jr team.  I heard that they where practicing at Area 51. Above Top Secret.
2.
ned. jr. white is average, probably finish around .500.we've gotten our tails kicked in 4 scrimmages.gave up several long td runs & passes.cant move the ball at all running or passing.we got alot of work to do!`
Little sandbagging????
3.
any word on BC
BC is good. Will get even better once they work out the bugs, like everyone else, including us.
4. Fixing to find out. OF Jr will scrimmage BC on Friday. Should be a good one. I know both sides are fired up.
5. Better watch out for #8 on the OF team. I heard he's a beast.  ::) Ha ha ha.
6. Well, I have one of those kids that is playing his third year in PeeWee. I can tell you that I thought about whether or not to move I'm up. But, even though it would be better and easier for me to bring him up with his brother, however the reason we kept him down was that he should play with his class mates and friends. Plus, even though he might be physically ready to play against a 10 yr old, he's not mentally. The difference of two years is huge at this age group.
7. Ha. That's been the thought for years but very rarely happens. As the saying goes, Talent is in the eye of the beholder unless it's a coach's, boardmembers or friends kids.  All-Stars in my eyes should be selected from the offical scoreboard with the highest 8 batting avg and the best 4 pitchers by K's making it.
8. Great Job!  Keep up the hard work. I'm sure your kids earned it and enjoyed it.
9. Congrads on the win GCS. I'm sure the kids earned every bit of it and nothing was given to them.  However, I'm sure we'll hear from Bobcat89 concerning the fact that the tournament wasn't in Houston or Dallas or New York.
10.
I would like to correct xdog. Groves won the 8yr old allstars last year. We beat bc at our place in round one, lost to Ned, and beat Ned in the championship at there place. Our 9yr old group isn't all that strong, but i think our 8's will be very tough.
Groves beat BC cause of some home cooking officiating and BC third base coach sending the kids to the slaughter at home. BC got zero calls at the plate as safe. But the kids did hit a shot to right field to win the game. So congrads to him.
11.
I think it's on to talks Trash sometimes. But I think some of these coaches take it too serious. I use baseball or sports in general as a way to teach my two boys about committment, work ethics and just plain ole giving 100% in what ever they do. Are the Gladiators the best? Ah, no. Are there better teams out there (ah, Roughriders), and I'm sure there are lesser experienced teams out there. I tell not only my kids but all the kids I coach, there is always somebody that's going to be stronger, bigger, and faster, but the true test is if and when you get knocked down will you get up for some more. People may think I'm cheesey, but I show the kids I coach in all sport to drive to win, and whether you win or lose has nothing to do with the scoreboard.
oh, BTW. Who's is this Juan guy?  He must be a pain in the butt. And that's not good if people are confusing me with him. No good!

13. Whatever bobcate89. The 20 plus team comment was about the tournament as a whole not just the 9u bracket. I hope you don't have a family member that plays at Ford Park tournaments because then your a hypocrite and your not going to get a Christmas card.

It appears that Gladiator Baseball have a very competitive organization. Keep up the hard work.
The only way to see is play somewhere other than Ford Park(JOKE).
Joke or not, there really is some truth to that.  Houston is a great place to see how your team compares.
It's really the only way to see where you really stand.
I don't think anyone was saying that the Gladiators were the best oraganization in the World. I was just giving some props to a bunch of kids. Next time I'll send you a PM to make sure that the Tournament meets your approval. I guess the 20 something teams that showed up are a joke too, and half the team where from Houston but not the right part of Houston for you.
15. It appears that Gladiator Baseball have a very competitive organization. Keep up the hard work.
16. Congradulation 9u Gladiators for winning this weekend Nations State Qualifer tournament at Ford Park. Keep up the hard work and great things will happen.
17. Lone Time since I've said this. THE WOS will bring the Hat.
18. Big D. Do you have the link or website for our bracket?  Send it tonmy work email.
19. Oh. One more thing. The hits put on by these 7 & & year olds would make a varsity coach proud and a momma cringe.
20. My hat off to Both Sides for Giving the fans a great game. 0 to 0. Great Sportsmanship on both sides.
21. Name of the teams is well represented. Prospects they are.
22. Sammy, that Hamburger analogy was funny! See when you open your mouth, make sure your bills are paid up. LOL
23. Any kid with the heart to be out there in the 100 plus temperature are awesome kids that are dedicated to the game. For the kids and the parents the win means no less whether it's Nations or USSSA. Dedication at any level is worth congratulations. Congratulations to Slam for placing 3rd in the Texas State Tournament. For two team from Southeast Texas to place in this tournament says a lot about our area.
